Vaduz Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Can't remember our tour guides name but she was extremely informative. She shared lots of history about her village and the country of Lichtenstein. Interesting tour if you want to learn more about this small country.

Our tour guide was quite special; knowledgeable, well spoken, excellent command of English. She provided a complete history of Lichtenstein including the nuances only a local would know, and even made a call to a top restaurant for us.

It was a tour or rather an exploration of history and connection. Each site we visited offered an insight of Vaduz, which is a city that embraces its past while living in the present. This tour left us inspired, with an appreciation for the beauty and romance that Vaduz and in fact Europe, has to offer.

We learned about the significance of the Vaduz Castle and its role in the principality's history, as well as some good hints about local traditions that made the experience feel personal and engaging. Vaduz is a treasure, and exploring it with a local guide was an experience we won’t soon forget.

We had a great tour of Vaduz with Bardh! Very personable and informative about the history and present day. Nice walk up to the Castle and good recommendations on food and winery. Highly recommend!

The best part? The stories and fun facts that our guide shared with us along the way. It really brought the city to life and gave us a deeper understanding and appreciation for Vaduz.

My tour with Aleksandra was excellent. From the beginning she was attentive and flexible. She messaged me days before to introduce herself and ask if I had any questions. She then mentioned that we would miss the evening light and was able and willing to move the time up so we could catch it. She is extremely knowledgeable about this history of Vaduz and its lovely country. We took a walk to the castle and took some breathtaking pictures along the way of the Alps surrounding this quaint village. Finally, we went to the Christmas market and shared a drink as she told me more about the Liechtenstein's culture and people. Aleksandra loves Vaduz and Liechtenstein and offers an excellent tour you certainly don't want to miss on your travels here.

Absolutely a must do if you are interested in the history of Lichtenstein. Our guide was very informative, able to answer so many questions we had about the area, how Lichtenstein came to be, and about the current government and castle. Highly recommend.

Bardh gave us all the time…and more. His English is very good. He is friendly and full of information. On a day in the upper 90’s he was still cheerful and energetic. I would definitely recommend him.

We liked the way the tour guide expertly told us stories of Durban’s socio-political history and the diverse cultures that coexist beautifully here. The highlight of the tour for us was definitely the cable car ride to Moses Mabhida Stadium. When in Durban, do not miss out on this fantastic adventure.

Vaduz, Liechenstein, The Instagrammable Spots of Vaduz, with Aleksandra. 5 Stars. Aleksandra gave us a wonderful, thoughtful, and informative tour of Vaduz. We were impressed with her knowledge of everything from history to modern statistics about Liechenstein, as well as directions and recommendations. Aleksandra did a great job and we highly recommend her.

Pamela was very informative, pointed out all we wanted to see, answered our questions and was very pleasant.

This was fun with some fun puzzles to solve. It would have great to be able to go back to review some of the puzzles, but that is minor. It also would have been better to have the story linked to specific landmarks in Vaduz
