Fun Christmas Activities in Tralee (Updated 2026)

John was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and flexible with our schedule. Due to rain in the forecast at the ring of Kerry, we altered our trip to experience Dingle. John was easy going, and provided an incredible experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We decided very spontaneously to book a whiskey tour there after we drove past the distillery the day before. We just went there in the morning and were warmly welcomed; Patricia took us along and explained the history of the distillery as well as that of Irish whiskey in a very entertaining way. She also gave us exciting insights into the production process, and afterwards, the production of gin could not be left out. We were also able to test the different scents at various stations - everything was really designed with great care. In the end, the tasting could of course not be missing.

We were greeted by our guide, the lovely Trish, who was both entertaining & knowledgeable. The gin distillery is fully up and running. Using locally sourced botanical flavouring. I did not try this product but the explanation was detailed and easy to understand. The whiskey base products are currently bought in but plans are in place for 3 new stills. Currently the mashing, blending and storage in casks for 4 or 6 years is completed on site. Again very detailed explanations and Trish knew her stuff! The whiskeys we tasted were superb. I fully recommend a visit &, of course, purchasing the whiskey from their onsite shop!

A fantastic day seeing the best of the best sights Ring of Kerry has to offer. Our guide Kristoffer Muciek was fun, accommodating, and informative. His van was excellent and so comfortable. He never pushed and allowed us as much time as we wanted. I could not ask for a better day.

An Amazing Day Exploring Kerry!I had the most incredible trip around the Ring of Kerry, Valentia Island, and Kerry Cliffs with Kris, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough! The views were absolutely breathtaking — some of the most amazing scenery I have ever seen. Kris is a fantastic guide who made the whole experience even more special. He shared so many interesting stories about Ireland, Kerry, its history, culture, and local places. You can really tell how much he loves the area and enjoys sharing it with visitors. We also visited the Bog Village and so many other beautiful and interesting attractions along the way. Every stop was special, and Kris made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the views, take photos, and learn something new.The car was also very comfortable and spacious, which made the long day of travelling between all the beautiful locations even more enjoyable. If you are visiting Kerry, I highly recommend taking a tour with Kris. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and truly an amazing guide. It was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely love to do it all again!Thank you, Kris, for such a memorable day! ❤️🍀

We traveled to Killarney for a week long golf trip in mid August and were in need of transportation, as the majority of courses were an hour plus away. John was prompt in his response assuring us he could handle the itinerary and he delivered everything and more.John is a class act, a great driver and an even better person. He has great knowledge of the area and history of Ireland which he will share during your travels- it makes the trip that much more enjoyable. If you are headed to Ireland and are in need of transportation, John will deliver!

Our Ring of Kerry tour with Ted was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland! He was communicative, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about County Kerry and the Ring of Kerry. He was also such a great person to spend the day with — funny, easy to talk to, and full of interesting stories and fun facts. He took us to some amazing places, including Valentia Island, the Kerry Cliffs, and Kells Sheepdogs, along with plenty of other great stops. The whole experience felt personal and thoughtfully planned, and we really felt like we got to see the best of the Ring of Kerry. It’s clear that Ted genuinely cares about making the experience memorable for his guests. We’d recommend him to anyone visiting County Kerry. Five stars!

Ted was a great host. He shared a lot of stories, history and took us to some amazing places! The Ring of Kerry exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling here for the first time. We are also glad we decided to not drive this ourselves….the roads are very windy and not having to drive gave everyone an opportunity to see the beautiful landscape.

Well when you talk about great experiences this surely was one. The journey was made all the better from the skipper Nicky. He was extremely funny, informative and also a gent. Whatever you pay this guy it should be more!!The boat tour covered both islands on every detail getting right into inlets to give an amazing experience, this lad knew the water. Nicky as I say gave a detailed guide of both islands with the expansive history, interesting facts mixed with a splash of humour. Mighty craic on the boat as he was the conductor.Top class all round, though no dolphins in sight, you can’t have it all.Keep up the great work Nicky.Micheál - Belfast

An Unforgettable Day with Mary!We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Mary. She picked us up right from our hotel and took us on an incredible tour to Dingle and back.Mary is exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, and took the time to show us some truly beautiful sights along the way. Beyond her expertise, she is incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel completely comfortable and welcome throughout the entire day.If you are looking for a personalized, deeply informative, and delightful tour around Ireland, we cannot recommend Mary G Tours enough!

We used John and 10 Degrees West for six days of private chauffeur service around Killarney and Adare, and he made the trip. We were a group of six — four adults plus an 8 and 5 year old — and from the very first message he was thorough and easy to work with: he met us right outside arrivals, had booster seats ready for the kids without any hassle, and kept the Mercedes V250 immaculate and comfortable for the whole group plus all our luggage. What stood out most was how seamless everything felt. John was responsive by phone and email leading up to the trip, confirmed every detail in advance, and was always exactly where he said he’d be — no waiting around, no confusion. He drove the Dingle Peninsula and the surrounding countryside with real local knowledge, pointing out spots along the way, and adjusted easily around our schedule with two young kids in tow.If you’re looking for a chauffeur in the Killarney/Adare area who is reliable, professional, and genuinely good with families, John is who you want. We’d book with him again without hesitation.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Gem — Do Not Visit Ireland Without Booking Mary G ToursWhere do I begin? Mary G Tours was without question the single best decision we made during our entire trip to Ireland. We booked through Cool Destinations for the Dingle Peninsula full loop tour, and I cannot overstate how exceptional the experience was.Mary is one of those rare guides who clearly loves what she does. From the moment she picked us up, she was warm, engaging, and bursting with knowledge — not just the rehearsed facts you’d get from a tour bus, but real, deep, fascinating stories about the landscape, the history, the people, and the culture of the Dingle Peninsula. She made every stop feel alive. The full loop is stunning on its own — the scenery is breathtaking — but Mary elevated it to something truly unforgettable. She knew exactly where to stop, when to linger, and when to let the views speak for themselves. She peppered the drive with local lore, Irish history, and personal insight that you simply cannot get from a guidebook or a GPS tour.If you’re visiting Kerry or the Dingle area and you’re on the fence about booking a private tour, stop deliberating and book Mary G Tours right now. 10 out of 10. She set the bar for what a tour guide should be, and I’d recommend her without a single hesitation to anyone — from first-time visitors to seasoned Ireland travelers.Mary, thank you for making our day in Dingle one we’ll talk about for years. You are the real deal.

Excellent personalized tour. John was the best guide and explained each stop as we went. The scenery was gorgeous of course and the stop to feed the animals was an unexpected treat for all. Thanks.

Peter was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating on our tour. I would highly recommend him. Honored special requests and never worried about timing.

Fabulous building, very interesting tour. The lady who gave us our tickets was very welcoming and super informative. The sound of the wind was amazing on the day we visited, highly recommend.
