Toledo 2026 Calendar of Events

We had heard and seen recommendations to visit Toledo as it was a quick trip by train from Madrid so we found this tour that was available in English and with the positive reviews we didn’t hesitate to book. Before we even started our tour, Sara was great at communicating with us ahead of time about where to meet and was good at responding back. Tip: do make sure to have WhatsApp and cellular data service for the communication.When we arrived for our tour, we quickly realized we were the only two that booked with her for the day so we were very lucky to have a private tour with Sara. Sara’s love for Toledo is so evident and she has so much knowledge about the city and has deep connections to the people there it made it that much more meaningful for us. She gave us great restaurant and dessert recommendations and was even gracious enough to take us to a bakery and get us a Toledanas and donut which were both delicious!Do not hesitate to book with Sara. It was truly a gift for us to have a tour by her and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Sara being part of our honeymoon travels and making it unforgettable!

Juan Martino was fabulous!! Even though I speak little Spanish, he gave me a brief explanation in English while others looked around. I saw 2 sites that I had always wanted to see. Perfecro!!

This was something special. It ended up being just the two of us with our guide, María. How fortunate for us!We had private viewings of treasures from the cloistered convent, heard an 800-year-old organ played just for us, and finished with wine and marzipan. María made the experience feel intimate and genuinely memorable.Three tours in one day was admittedly a lot, but we’re very glad we didn’t skip this one. A unique glimpse into a part of Toledo we never could have experienced on our own.

An unforgettable experience; thanks to our friendly guide Amparo, we were able to enjoy a wonderful tour of the private basements and Roman baths of Toledo that left us speechless. We are looking forward to repeating it to discover more curiosities in this wonderful city.

Very detailed and easy to follow tour. It was a hot day and we stopped/started , took side trips and we got back on track with the tour with no issues. Love the 3D feature of the map. At the wishing well stop we met the owners who were very surprised and greatfull they are a stop on the tour.

This was such a great way to discover Toledo! The English was very clear, and you can really feel that the tour was created by someone local who knows the city and loves its stories. The navigation was easy to follow, and it was so much nicer than being in a big group, especially in the narrow streets. We could walk quietly, stop whenever we wanted, and enjoy the city at our own pace. Going early was a great tip too, because we avoided the worst heat, noise and crowds. Highly recommend!

Macarena was such an incredible guide. Being from Toledo, Ohio USA, I knew we wanted to do a tour of Toledo, Spain and I did NOT want to do it with a large bug group. Paying for a small group tour was not that much more expensive and 100% worth it! In fact, it ended up being just me and my boyfriend on the tour! We were able to ask questions and she was able to give us excellent suggestions for lunch in Toledo as well as sent us messages re: suggestions in Madrid. Toledo was one of the highlights of our France/Spain trip and much of that was because of our guide. Only one other time I have I fallen in love with a city (Florence), but I think I may now be cheating with Toledo! The tour length was perfect to cover all the major attractions and we received the tourist pass bracelet to get into any other monuments for free. THANK YOU MACARENA!

Our guide Stephi was phenomenal and the history of the city fascinated us. Before we met our guide, we had to make our way to the main Square from the local train station. There are lots of steps and a lot of elevation to cover to get into town. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning so the weather was still cool enough to make the walk. I would not have wanted to do it later in the day when it was warmer. Plenty of taxis available and buses too to avoid the walk.
