Tijuana Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

My fiancé and I had an incredible day with Alex. He was prompt, reliable, and an excellent guide for our visit to Mexico. We wanted to explore some wineries in Valle de Guadalupe and enjoy lobster in Puerto Nuevo, and Alex made it all happen—and so much more. As foodies, we appreciated that Alex ensured we stopped at the best places for delicious food along our adventure. I would highly recommend Alex as your guide. The experience was truly five stars: safe, dependable, and unforgettable. We genuinely had a fantastic day and would happily do this experience again and again.

Alex drove us from Tijuana to our resort in Valle de Guadalupe and back, and also a 12 hour wine tasting tour. He was early, sent his location via WhatsApp, and met us at a very clear and obvious location. The car was clean and very comfortable. He drove so smoothly, even on bumpy dirt roads in Valle. He provided snacks and water free of charge. He stopped for us for a pit stop. We hired Valle Encantado Experience last year, and we were so pleased we hired him again. Tell Alex any long or short driving needs you have (rides to dinner, etc), and either he or one of his other drivers will accommodate you. Would hire Alex again and again. Highly recommended.

Alex was the best driver for our Valle de Guadalupe wine tasting tour. He was early, the car was clean and very comfortable, and he provided snacks, mints, and cold water for us to drink between wineries. He drove very calmly and as smoothly as you can on these bumpy dirt roads. He was so patient and kind and had many recommendations if we e asked. This was our second time with Alex and Valle Encantado Experience. Would definitely hire him again, and recommend highly!

I have had the pleasure of hiring Erick's company several times over the years and each experience has been wonderful. Carlos is the real deal — a true Tijuana local who made our experience unforgettable. His knowledge of local history, culture and food went beyond the typical tourist experience. I was picked up from directly my airb&b address in TJ which was nice. Eric was my host and was very friendly, and knowledgeable. He improvised the tour for me because my knee was torn so I could not walk long distances.The tour was great! So some beautiful spots, tried and ate very good authentic Mexican food, and candy! Great experience!

This is a unique, unforgettable and above and beyond experience. I lived, enjoyed and shared my favorite songs with friends I cherish.

My daughter I and parked in a paid lot and then met Carlos on the Mexico side of the border. It was easy to find him with the instructions he sent us. When the tour started, we all took a city bus to the downtown and walked around from there. We saw several historical places, shops, murals, and we did 2 tequila tastings. The lunch was tasty, and Carlos was an excellent guide. We felt very safe, and he even walked with us up to the border crossing so that we went in the correct line.

If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, this is it! My friends and I chose to spend our girls’ night riding around, singing our favorite songs, and it was an absolute blast from start to finish.Celesse is an incredible host! She made us feel so welcome, kept the energy up, and made sure everyone was having fun. It honestly felt like our own private karaoke party on wheels. We laughed, sang our hearts out, and created memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.Whether you’re planning a girls’ night, or just want to do something different, I can’t recommend this enough. It quickly became clear to me how important it is to have a guide and transportation in Valle de Gpe and even more so if you are staying in Ensenada. Ivan and his team do an excellent job so that you only enjoy the experience. Special recognition to Isaac, who always tried to take care of what we needed to ensure a Mega experience. Friendly, proactive, and with a lot of knowledge to share.

Let us start by saying Ana and Ryan are exceptional hosts and have a since passion and interest in the history of the Valle and the different vineyards. Undoubtedly they can organize a tour based on your interest and needs. We started with Villa Montefior and it didn’t disappoint! We had one of our favorite Nebbiolo varieties of the day by winemaker Paolo Paolini who is a pioneer in the Valle. From there we moved on to Finca La Carrodilla a leader in organic and biodynamic wine making in the region. Wonderful wines to go alongside amazing views and a cute little wedding chapel to boot. Loved the seating areas and the gardens as well. Great choice! We then went and had an awesome lunch at Michelin-rated Envero en el Valle located at the Las Nubes Winery with sweeping views of the Valle. The meal was excellent and relaxed, staff attentive and knowledgeable, just a great experience. We didn’t do a tasting but had a great glass of wine with lunch. From there we moved on to our final winery of the day which was Bodegas Magoni where we did a tasting of some wonderful wines accompanied by live music under the canopy of a 500 year old live oak tree. Amazing atmosphere! Great wine to cap off the day was a wine named Origen 43, ask Ana about it! Also sampled some wonderful olive oil from 300 year old olive trees located on the property. The day flew by as we felt like we were with old friends in Ana and Ryan. Great conversation, great itinerary, excellent correspondence and communication prior to the tour. Luxury vehicle with an awesome and safe driver in Ryan. Just an experience not to be missed. Don’t hesitate to book your wine tasting adventure, you are in great hands, and very safe. We are so very thankful to Ana and Ryan for putting together a wonderful, personalized tour of the Valle de Guadalupe. From our very first contact, they were responsive, receptive to our interests, helpful with suggestions, and very organized. This was our first time visiting Ensenada and the Valle and they put together a great experience that incorporated our grape varietal interests, local culture, gorgeous scenery, and some delicious food. They were prompt with picking us up within walking distance of our cruise port and attentive to our needs along the way, including giving us some alone time to enjoy the view and fare. The car was very comfortable and they provided some much needed hydration between tastings! I so wish we had more time, but they were able to squeeze in several visits to amazing, diverse wineries and whisk us back to our cruise ship in time for re-boarding. When we come back, we'll definitely leverage Ana and Ryan's expertise once again and highly recommend them. Thanks for making this the highlight of our Mexican Riviera trip!

Ivan treated us to a well organized 5-day small group wine tasting and food tour in Valle de Guadalupe and Valle de San Vicente. He worked in all our requests including olive oil and cheese tastings.
