The Cayes Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Our trip was AMAZING! Captain Brian and Victoria were wonderful. They c Kept us informed about where we were going, what we would see, and what to expect! The water was a little rough, but they took care of us. I had. The chicken & rice for lunch and it was really good. They were very knowledgeable and kind. You’ve seen reviews on them before, but they’re so much better in person. I would recommend this trip for anyone.

Awesome experience! Chris and Rick were the best! Very informative and safe. Would definitely recommend!

I can't put into words on how fun and beyond my expectation this was to me. Captain Phillip was the best tour guide anyone could ask for. The weather was perfect enough we got to see manatees, sea turtles, beautiful corals and much more. Whether with someone or solo, I'll recommend every time! Lunch was provided and had extra stops to snorkel, I can't thank you guys enough! 10/10s across board!

Captain Brian and Victor were excellent tour guides! They took great care to make sure the experience was memorable. They both grew up in the waters around Caye Caulker and their knowledge showed that! They were professional but very friendly and welcoming. We fed tarpon, frigates and snorkeled with nurse sharks, Hol Chan and a shipwreck. It was the highlight of our trip to Belize. I definitely feel that we got MORE than our money's worth!

This tour is a must-do when in Belize and was definitely the highlight of an amazing trip. The process to book the tour was simple. The team at Salt Life Eco Tours were excellent, our tour guides made it truly a wonderful and engaging experience for everyone. Great value for money. I would suggest that if you are not experienced snorkeling or you aren't a strong swimmer, make it a point to let them know and have them double check that your gear is in order.

Best snorkeling experience I’ve had by far! The reef was vibrant and full of aquatic variety. The tour guides, Chris and Alexia were entertaining, informative, and helpful in pointing out the marine life we would have missed on our own. They knew all the best spots in shark alley, the reef, the turtle and manatee locations, and more. I will make the return trip to snorkel with these guides next time in Belize.

They were very fun yet professional. They brought us to amazing areas to explore all sorts of ocean life

Awesome snorkeling experience! The guides were great, we got to travel with a small group, and we were sent photos afterward!Just remember to wear a swim shirt - we got the worst sunburns of our lives because we were having so much fun in the water!

I had an AMAZING time with Salt Life Tours! 🌊🤿 Elvis and Keys were absolutely the best. They were so patient with me because I’m a pool swimmer, NOT an ocean swimmer 😂😂. They made me feel comfortable, kept me informed, and made the whole experience such a vibe!By about the second jump in, I was feeling like a PRO! 😂🙌🏽 The experience was so much fun, and I’m already looking forward to coming back and doing it all over again. If you’re thinking about booking with Salt Life Tours, DO IT! You won’t regret it. Thank you, Elvis and Keys, for making this such an unforgettable experience! 💙🌊

Absolutely amazing experience with Captain Elvis and George! Definitely the best service in Belize and a once in a lifetime experience. You will be well taken care of, have a great time and also make new friends on your trip! Highly recommend

Our day with Salt Life was absolutely perfect, right from 8:30 am all the way to 3 pm; not a second was wasted. Captain Phillip and his trusty partner Alexia showed us around every hotspot in the ocean, getting us up close and personal with rays, sharks, fish, and even manatees. This was a dream excursion and the stories and commentary throughout also provided the best comedy show. Beyond Captain Phillip’s jokes, he was also an extravagantly generous guide, allowing us to borrow his mask when struggling. When we saw not one, not two, but THREE manatees, we were alerted with a resounding BOMBOCLAT, rounding out the whole experience! To summarize, this experience was UNBELIZEABLE with the help of Captain Philip (Juan Carlos) and Alexia (Lupita)—we will be back again in no time.

So much fun. Rick and Philip are amazing and really added to the experience. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a fun snorkeling adventure.

We did the 7 stop bucket list tour and it was a great experience! Captain Loki really brought the energy and made the day. It was a nice touch that they provide you with underwater GoPro pictures, too. One negative: we called ahead because we were running late and the guy at the desk said it would be ok. When we got there, he was rude to us for being late. But then Loki showed up and brought the positive energy!

Amazing trip! Everything was nice, the food, the snacks, beautiful marine life and Shoutout to Philip and Josh, super nice and fun tour guides!

We had a very nice day with Phillip and Rick!

This was an amazing experience! We made all the stops and there was a perfect amount of time at each stop. Shoutout to Ricky and Elvis for being the best tour guides!
