Tallinn Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We had a great time at Tore Toit - thoroughly enjoyed cooking some Estonian dishes with a lovely group of people. Reilika was a wonderful host and gave great instruction. There was also a lovely space to sit and enjoy our meal and have a good chat. We enjoyed trying some Estonian beer and rhubarb cider too. So glad we booked for this experience while in Tallinn and would recommend it highly!

Had a great time exploring Tallinn with Herrmann. Small group of fellow travelers and a day where the weather got progressively better. It was a good mix of local and regional history and how the past helped shape present day Tallinn. The setting (mostly in the old and upper town areas) were lovely for looks and charm. Herrmann was very knowledgable and amenable to lots of questions. An all in all good time. Highly recommend.

It’s really great to learn about local food and culture from a local and to taste great food with like minded people. We all cooked in one kitchen, each pair had dishes to make that we would sit down and share with everyone later on. It felt like cooking a family meal together. Our tutor was very knowledgable and answered all our questions and told us about her family traditions and where to go to eat good Estonian food.

Hermann was our tour guide and did an absolutely fantastic job! He is a native Estonian and gave us an accurate perspective of Tallinn, not only today, but what it was like under Russian rule until 1991. I highly recommend this tour, and if you're lucky enough to get Hermann as your guide, you will enjoy this tour immensely!

Tom presents the whole tour in a very articulate manner. His stories of various sites that we visited are both humourous and informative. We would highly recommend this tour.

I had a photoshoot with Aytan while I was in Tallinn on holiday. She was professional but also very friendly during my interaction with her. Although I’ve had countless photoshoots before, I appreciated that she would tell me what poses would work. I’m shocked at how affordable the photoshoot was for the great experience and amazing photos I received from her.

The whole event was good fun, especially the karaoke bar, and everyone was happy throughout. Fully recommend.

Amazing view of Tallinn! ☀️ Had a blast!I did the Edge Walk on my last day here as a last-minute thing and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. Definitely an experience I’d recommend not passing up.I was also alone on the walk, which honestly made it even more enjoyable since I could take my time and really enjoy the views.Instructor Annika was great! I was kinda scared at first, but she showed me the ropes (literally), and by the end I was even sitting on the ledge lol.Loved it!

Juhan customized his walking tour of the old town with his hidden gems by car for us on our first day in Estonia. It was a perfect start to our time in this wonderful country. Juhan’s knowledge of the country is incredible. We booked 2 other tours with Juhan and each one was great. Juhan curated our 4 days in Estonia so that we had a free day after our first tour to wander around Tallinn and explore in depth some of the things we saw with him on our first day - brilliant!

Excellent tour of Lahemaa National Park and interesting information about the Soviet times in Estonia and the transition to independence and a market economy.

Good explanation of the history of Estonia and Tallinn and tour of the important and historical buildings and sites in Tallinn.

We had a great day. All of the sites were beautiful, we learned a lot, and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend this and if we come back we will do the tour again to a different area!

I had a wonderful time! Private tours are great and since this is also a photo tour, I didn't have to worry about not having pictures from my visit/tour. Aytan made it very special and she is an awesome tour guide! Highly recommended!!!

Despite living in Estonia, seeing its gorgeous hidden gems, acknowledging about its history was a great experience. I’m sure everyone visiting Tallinn knows the old town and may visit it several times( as every street has something to see and discover) even without a guide, but the locations I saw in this tour were quite different and not everyone knows about them, even if they know they may not go because they’re far from tourist attractions. The guide gave enough and precise information about everywhere he took us. Totally worth it.
