Switzerland Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

This was the most beautiful way to see Switzerland. And as my first paragliding experience, I was excited, amazed and in awe. Michael was so confident and professional, I had no cause for nerves. I can’t recommend paragliding in Switzerland enough. Do it! And buy the photos, and the videos, unforgettable!

This is a great way to learn the city and see amazing things from water and cable car. Our guide Constantin was excellent!

I learned a lot about how chocolate was made in a pretty fun way. It's free if you have the Swiss travel pass but affordable, even if you don't. They provide a lot of free chocolate samples of a lot of different foods of chocolate.

We had a great time on this trip! The train ride is 2 hours up and 2 hours back but the scenery is unlike anything we've seen anywhere we've been around the world! We also sat in the dining cart and had a beer on the way up! The walking tour of the city was very informative and our guide, Julianna, did a great job! We highly recommend this experience!

It was a pleasant walking trour along the old town of Zurich followed by the visit to the famous Lindt chocolate museum/ factory. And the final destination was to embark on the cruise along Lake Zurich

This had to be tops on my favorite things to do in Switzerland. It was so easy to book the date and time I wanted on the website. Marika was my professional tandem glider partner, and she made the experience as good as it could be for a 77-year-old senior first-time paraglider. It was a short hike up a steep incline to the takeoff site, but after that it was easy to sit back and enjoy the view on a beautiful September day with clear skies and a breathtaking view of the valley. We soared over the B&B where I was staying in Gimmelwald and came close to the nearby waterfalls. The views were nothing short of spectacular. Unfortunately, she was unable to retrieve the many phots and videos that she took but offered to refly me the next day. After having such a great experience, it was an opportunity that I took full advantage of, with only the cost of the photo package. That is the policy of AirTime Paragliding, and it is excellent for customer service. Several people have asked me to compare the two flights, but I can't; the views were stunning and Marika was great both times.

We had a wonderful tour of Zürich and truly enjoyed the experience! Our tour guide, Konstantin, was excellent—knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and very engaging. He shared interesting stories and historical information about Zürich and made the tour both informative and enjoyable.

Annecy is a nice city to visit. Many lunch options and pretty easy to walk around. Our guide, Gabriel was very knowledgeable and friendly.

The Bernina express was a definite highlight as well as the drive up the mountain and rhe switch backs. What skill by our driver Mr Edison. Our guide Monica was very friendly & extremely helpful & knowledgeable.

Great trip around Lake Geneva. The host talked about the buildings around the lake and made the trip engaging. Wine and nibbles were a nice addition. Would recommend this trip

Relaxing, yet not boring. The scenery on the panoramic train was spectacular. Our guide, Nico, was the best. He really gave it his all and wanted each person in his group to feel seen. I enjoyed the free time in each town.
