Our guide, Przemyslaw Jezierski, made the day absolutely unforgettable. His energy and genuine passion for mountain climbing were contagious, and his patience with us as beginners was exceptional. We felt completely safe throughout the experience while still being encouraged to push our limits in a healthy and rewarding way. It was the perfect combination of adventure, challenge, and fun—and a day we will remember forever. This tour far exceeded our expectations. We went high on the glacier and were blessed with very nice weather, but our guide Ivo was positive and happy and spirited and did a great job keeping us safe but keeping us moving. The views were superlative, impossible to really describe. I would highly recommend. Of note, we were with a fit, active group, and that probably made a difference as well.

Amazing Tour Guide

Our guide Irene from Ireland was spectacular. She knew the mountain, answered all our questions and was so patient with all the guests and their different abilities to climb. I was disappointed that there were more people participating than actually the small group advertised. Also read the small print, if you don’t have high top boots the force you to rent their shoes.

Amazing Experience - Guillermo was the best!

We enjoyed this tour with our two children while traveling in Iceland and it was an absolute highlight! Meet-up at Glacier Lagoon was very easy and our guide (Guillermo) explained the process to us every step of the way so we knew what to expect. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the glacier and history of the area and took time to answer all of our questions. He was even super kind to our 10 year old who is a chatterbox and had all sorts of questions (beyond glacier-related topics). The tour definitely requires a decent degree of fitness, stamina, and ability to follow instructions to stay safe on the ice. Thank you so much Guillermo and Ice Explorers - we had the best time!

An Experience to Not Miss

Awesome adventure. This is NOT an easy tour. It’s not difficult but it certainly is not easy. Beautiful views and a really interesting experience. Arctic Adventures had great equipment and was very well organized. Our tour guide, Alex from the Czech, was great. Safety was #1 and teaching us how to properly execute this tricky tour was paramount to her. Just a great experience from start to finish.

Great Kayak trip, beware if Cool Destinations directions

Kayaking was great. Aresteri was a great guide. Two things to be aware of... 1) you start with the kayak tour. If you follow directions in the ticket, it will take you to the hike and you'll have a mess on your hands as it's not the same. 2) if you book a 3 hour glacier hike, it's probably the exact same hike here (pics make it look different)
