Segovia Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Ours was a private tour of Segovia with Teresa Cunillera, an outstanding guide. Her knowledge of the city, its history and monuments; plus her perfect itinerary made it one of the best tours we’ve ever taken (and we travel!)

An incredible experience from start to finish. We went as a couple and the truth is that we couldn't have chosen a better plan.The sunrise flight over Segovia is amazing, but I also think a big part of why we enjoyed it so much was because of the team. Víctor, our pilot, was great: super approachable, fun, and conveying calm at all times. And Miguel and Samuel, also charming, attentive to everything and making sure there was a great atmosphere from the moment you arrive.Before taking off they explain everything to you, including how to prepare for landing, and during the experience you learn a ton of things about balloons almost without realizing it.And we loved the end: after landing they set up a snack in the middle of the field, we all toasted together, and they were telling us the history and some fun facts about hot air balloon flights. It's the typical detail that makes it not just "going up in a balloon," but a whole experience.We took home a precious memory. The sunrise, the views, the laughter, the toast afterwards… A super special plan to do as a couple that I would totally recommend.Thank you, Siempre en las Nubes, and especially to Víctor, Miguel, and Samuel for making us have such a good time! ❤️

Perfect landing. Everything very professional.

This was an incredible experience with amazing and very memorable views of the old town of Segovia. The crew who were responsible for the whole ordeal was outstanding! Exceptional customer service skills; very kind, helpful, accommodating, caring, knowledgeable, and quite funny (in English!!!). The pilot (Carlos) was very experienced and was also very funny! He made sure everyone saw different angles and at different heights! The landing was absolutely smooth! they take a lot of pictures of you, and the ride is also recorded and provided to you after the ride. I will absolutely recommend doing this over Segovia! It was worth every penny! Thank you all for the memorable experience and for your exceptional customer service and amazing attitudes!

An exceptional flight. Highly experienced pilots and a highly recommended experience.

Loved the experience! And beautiful!! Only thing I would give feedback for would be to be less crowded. It was uncomfortable for everyone and to maneuver. We were packed like sardines and had trouble turning or move. Some discomfort is tolerable but not like how we all were. Also, the downtime was a bit much. I have done another balloon ride and awhile getting the balloon deflated, someone would usually quickly set up the drinks etc. waiting in a manure field was not pleasant. However, the team was very professional and very nice and made an effort to make sure everything was trying to run smoothly.

David was our bus guide and he was friendly and respectful.

This is truly the best way to get to see all that Avila has to offer in a one hour tour with stops for some of the best pics. Our guide Cami was amazing and very helpful. She gets 5 stars from me and my wife!

One of the most beautiful experiences we have had as a family. The 3 team members are incredible, everything was super well explained, not leaving a single doubt. The flight was spectacular, flying over Segovia is a unique experience, with incredible smoothness, even while being at times 1 kilometer high. The fellow travelers, another Italian family and a French guy, were super. At the end, a picnic with cava or juice/water for the children, the presentation of diplomas, and a collection of photos and video of the flight. We are sure that we will do it again on another of their routes, because it is simply a magical experience.

It was a fantastic experience that we could do at our leisure. No time tables or trying to keep up with the tour guide. Definitely the way to go.

You are going to have a great time. We had to fly with Pericles and from the first moment he conveyed confidence and professionalism. Even the landing was smooth and fun. Mind you, you have to be prepared to get covered in dust if you land while tipping... the picnic was great.

Teresa was great on this tour! She customized the route to our needs since it was so hot and we wanted to go a bit faster than usual. She took great group photos of us at the best locations and even suggested a great restaurant Tuma. Her information was clear and connected all the history of Segovia and Spain. Highly recommended tour!

We arranged for a private group tour in Avila with an English speaking guide. Ignacio led us on the tour at a leisurely piece, keeping us mostly in the shade on a very sunny day, and informed us about all of the fantastic historical, architectural, religious and cultural sites in this beautiful town..

Absolutely phenomenal. Manuel and Javier are professional and friendly guys. From the moment of making the reservation until the farewell, everything was perfect. It is the experience that I would like to share with my family and all my loved ones.

Our tour with Ignacio was excellent. His communications were excellent and we had no problem meeting up with him. We were a bit late arriving and had a lunch booking, so he made sure we was everything we wanted to in plenty of time without rushing.He gave us a lot of interesting information, both historical and cultural and answered all the questions we had. His English is excellent - our only minor criticism would be that he talks quite fast! But all in all we had a great time and would recommend Ignacio to others
