Santiago Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Alvaro served as an excellent guide during our trip to the Inca Lagoon and Portillo. The driver was highly experienced, and the stops we made along the way helped us acclimate to the altitude.

This was a fantastic day trip, although it isn’t for everyone. 8 km of walking through the snow up to the mountain is definitely a real hike. The views are spectacular and the whole area is breathtakingly beautiful.

Victor was an excellent guide and driver, very friendly and spent a lot of time talking with me about Chilean history, wines and culture, it was perfect. I highly recommend this trip, the highlight was our stop at Casa de Mille and my visit with Alexandra who gave me a personal tour of their vineyards and shared their wine with me which was outstanding. She is a wonderful host and your visit to Chile and the Casablanca will not be as rich or complete if you do not meet her!

Very enjoyable day of wine tasting with a small group. Easy hotel pickup and drop off. Victor, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. All wineries visited were nice with good wines. I especially enjoyed the personal attention provided at Casa Del Molle - a small boutique winery in a beautiful setting. Overall a great day trip from Santiago.

Great trip to Portillo, impressive landscapes of the Andes mountain range and spectacular view at the Portillo ski resort. I recommend. Luciano guide excellent!

Improve bus hygiene and seat comfort

It was very nice, the tour is incredible from the breakfast in a cozy place and it was still dawn, everything was delicious! After the amazing experience, with a beautiful view on the Maipo, the chocolate house, the picnic... ahh and the guide Juan too, made all the difference, he is very cool, fun, super high-spirited and an excellent driver!!

Diego was a wonderful guide for the day, and the tour was packed with goodies, the scenery was just stunning, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our walking city tour with Pablo. A small group tour is the way to go as it was more personal and Pablo’s knowledge of the city was extensive and interesting. We also enjoyed our cheese empanadas and covered quite a bit of the city thanks to Alfred - our driver. Thankyou Pablo & Alfred

I was the only one booked on to this tour but an alternative option was made available to go to a winery and the oldest Ski Centre in South America. I was delighted as it was still the Andes. The driver and guide were excellent. Delighted with the day.

A great tour to kick start your first time in Santiago. Must do to understand the culture and get a feel for the town.We loved the market a vibe of activity and fresh produce.Our guide was brilliant with lots of insights!
