San Francisco Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Lovey day to cruise around the bay. Getting close to Alcatraz island and passing under the Golden Gate Bridge. We loved it a nice break from the hustle and bustle.

Great way to see a LOT of San Francisco in a short time frame and a reasonable budget. Driver/guide was EXCELLENT - knowledgeable and FUNNY! We had a great time.

Great trip, would have preferred double the time in Miur woods and to skip Sausalito but otherwise had a fantastic time.

Great driver. Going on the tour was much better than driving and parking. Beautiful views. Comfortable transportation. Loved the Redwoods and time to do a great hike and then eating and shopping in Saucilito. Highly recommend!

LOVED this tour! Tara, our guide, was WONDERFUL in every way possible - ensuring we saw many sites - learned so much about SFO - and her humor kept us laughing throughout the entire tour! She had a great sixties type playlist that was perfect for our very colorful “hippie themed” VW BUS! Tara, has an amazing voice too as she sang a bit of those good ole nostalgic songs! Tara’s small and exceptionally sweet dog, Rosie, accompanied us on our tour - she’s extremely well behaved and has her own little bed - she enhanced our trip too! What a FUN and memorable way to explore SFO - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you for a very fun and informative tour!!

It was a great way to see the city. We enjoyed the small size of the group. The guide was knowledgable and personable.

We parked in pier 39 parking garage a few hours before our cruise and enjoyed the area. Lots of things for families with pre teen age kiddos to enjoy prior to departure. We boarded our boat and received a wonderful naration of the local area landscape from the bays point of view.

What a fun tour. Dominic was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable. He freely shared his experiences growing up in the city. Pointed out great places to explore and offered helpful hints on our next visit. He took pictures for us and made sure we were comfortable. Dolly, the van was a treat!

Great way to see the San Francisco Bay and learn about all the historic there. I would recommend to anyone traveling to San Francisco.

A must do. Plan for the weather. Don’t let a little chill keep you from seeing the most beautiful sunset and the coastline….and of course the city lights. Layer up as needed. I would do this again on the next trip. Get your beverage first because the line gets long and you don’t want to miss the view.

It’s a great way to see San Francisco and the driver told awesome stories about the sites we saw. Definitely highly recommend.

Everything was well organized, easy to navigate on arrival, and the staff and crew were friendly and helpful. The sunset cruise itself is a must do experience if you are visiting San Francisco. We did it on the last night of our stay, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our trip. The whole thing was amazing. Seeing the Golden Gate Bridge so close up as we sailed underneath, the beautiful sunset from just beyond, the charming evening views of Sausalito, the slightly creepy vibe as you float past Alcatraz after dark, the lights of the Oakland Bay Bridge and the stunning nighttime skyline of San Francisco, while music plays on the boat giving you a soundtrack to match the experience all felt a little surreal. There were pauses in the music for facts and history about the various landmarks as we passed which was interesting too. It was very windy at points, and got quite chilly out on the deck, but I would say dress for the weather and catch the views from outside if you can. Come with a full cellphone battery too, you’ll be taking photos throughout guaranteed. There were a variety of snacks and beverages available on board for purchase, which was handy as the cruise is two hours long. Just book it, worth every penny.

Great day spent exploring Alcatraz. I highly recommend. It was so interesting learning about the history of the prison.

This is a great place to beat the heat or cold while learning a ton and having fun. All ages will enjoy this museum.
