Fabulous. There is so much more to mosaics than their color, artistry and beauty. Rita made this tour the delight that it was. She is extremely knowledgeable, passionate for the topic, open and welcoming. I travel solo all over the world and try to take cultural and architecture tours wherever I am. This was probably the best of the best and in large part due to Rita. I left with a far greater appreciation and knowledge for these incredible ancient works

Our guide Riccardo was excellent. He had many interesting facts to share. We went to Commachio and an abbey in the countryside. This was our special request and he accommodated it. We saw the archaeology museum Museo Delta Antico and that was fascinating of well displayed objects from early times (Etruscan and Roman Empire). Being out in the lagoons was incredible and we saw ibis and flamingos. We loved this day outside of Ravenna. A+++ experience.

What a great way to experience Venice! From the second we booked this tour to the time they dropped us off back in Ravenna, this team was nothing but communicative, informative and a delight to work with! Our bus driver, David, was an excellent driver and took great care of us on the 2hr trip to/from Venice. And our lovely tour guide, Mino, had so much knowledge of Venice. We wished we had him all day! We were a large group + had a baby with us, and appreciated their thoughtfulness and patience. Definitely book!

Rome can be incredibly overwhelming for any traveler. The sheer volume of history layered on top of itself, combined with massive crowds and confusing ticketing systems, makes it a difficult city to tackle efficiently on your own. Booking an itinerary through Tour Up in Europe completely redefined our experience of the Eternal City, turning what could have been a chaotic vacation into a beautifully organized, profoundly educational highlight of our lives.The structure of our day was absolute perfection. We began with their skip-the-line Roman Forum and Colosseum segment, and I cannot stress enough how vital their organization was. While thousands of people stood in seemingly endless lines under the baking sun, our group was checked in and moving through the security gates seamlessly. Our guide possessed an astonishing depth of archaeological knowledge, effortlessly reconstructing the ruins of the Senate house and ancient marketplaces through vivid storytelling rather than just reciting dry dates.What truly sets this outfit apart, however, is their spatial awareness and pacing. Rome is a sprawling outdoor museum, and it is remarkably easy to exhaust yourself by midday. The route chosen by our guide was meticulously thought out, utilizing shaded side-streets and optimizing walking distances to keep our energy levels up. When we moved into the historic center to view the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona, the transition was completely effortless.They also introduced us to incredible, authentic neighborhood spots for a brief espresso and gelato break away from the heavily inflated tourist traps. If you want a deeply respectful, stress-free, and thoroughly sophisticated exploration of Rome’s architectural and historical marvels, do not hesitate to book with this team. They operate with a level of professionalism and care that is rare to find, and they are worth every single euro!

We had a fantastic afternoon as a family with our 5-year-old son. Francesco was really very friendly, giving us new flavors to try the whole time while patiently and very excitingly explaining how his creations are made. We even made two flavors of ice cream: Sorbet and cream ice cream. We prepared the fruit, measured the ingredients, mixed them, and filled the ice cream machine, then transferred it and of course tasted it right away. A truly wonderful experience, suitable for children from four years old - our son was very proud! Today we even discovered Sbrino's ice cream in a restaurant!

If you roam about Venice without context, it might feel overwhelming and theme park like. This trip passes straight through it, revealing the actual city benath. My feet were fatigued by the end, and the crowds surrounding St Mark were atrong, but nothing of these factors detracted from what was an absolutely fantastic few hours.
