Rangiroa Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Marius, our captain, took us to his motu. We are alone (group of 12). Snorkeling with sharks then a visit to the reef. We fully enjoyed the natural pools. Delicious lunch on the BBQ. It was magnificent.

I recommend the triangle excursion, that is to say the island, the reef, and the blue lagoon, then the Tiputa pass to see the dolphins and snorkeling in the Aquarium. Very beautiful day

WOW! This was an amazing day and by the far the highlight of our trip to French Polynesia. Brando & team were fantastic. They brought us to the "aquarium" to snorkel before the blue lagoon, and this was some of the best snorling we've ever seen. But nothing compares to the blue lagoon. There were only 10 other people at the lagoon that day, it was like being on a deserted island. They also served us a delicious local lunch. Brando even made us hats out of palm fronds.

A great day in Rangiroa thanks to Marius and Yvan Nice and professional. All the snorkeling and walk points were very good Lunch on the motu was perfect. And we were treated to free spam.what is Rangispam? A massage thanks to the hollows of 2 meters (osteoporotic abstain) and a continuous sprinkling of warm sea water for 1 hour.SPAM or Sanita per aqua Marina. Bravo.

What an amazing and informative ride. We had a great time and learned so much about the Polynesian culture. The best food on the island too!! Don’t miss out on this adventure!

We had a great day thanks to our Marius guide who is really nice, funny and professional! He loves his job and it feels good. Thanks to Momo also for his good humor. Even if we ran out of sunshine, they replaced him. Very nice excursion!

Very beautiful experience! Two top-notch days! (Reef Island and blue lagoon) Dreamy landscapes! Adorable and very attentive staff. Everything is done so that we have a very pleasant day in a good mood and with a joy for life! We ate really well! And saw the dolphins in the Tiputa pass in the evening! A delight! We also did the blue and green lagoon as well as snorkeling in the Avatoru pass the day before with a funny, smiling, thoughtful, and available team! A treat! Thank you all!

Pass from Tiputa, Triangle Reef Island, Blue Lagoon and back, with lunch. Well organized. Good boat. A very nice team Captain Momo, Brandon the guide and the young "trainees". excellent lunch with Polynesian grill! Fish and chicken so tasty! (We were lucky enough to have superb weather and an ultra flat sea! for the fast crossing). Zero foul.

We had a wonderful day in probably the most beautiful place we’d ever seen. Our tour operator was on time, spoke perfect English, and was very considerate in taking excellent care of our group. We were served a delicious lunch of grilled local fish and chicken along with plenty of drinks and wonderful coconut bread. The snorkeling was great as was swimming in the gorgeous Blue Lagoon

We had a fabulous day out with a great team. Started with snorkelling near the main entrance to the lagoon before exhilarating boat ride to the blue lagoon. It is difficult to put into words the stunning beauty of this location which we shared with only 20 other people. The team put on a tasty bbq lunch whilst we swam, snorkelled and walked across and around the lagoon. Reef sharks, rays and colourful fish all within shallow water made easy and eventful encounters. Rangiroa excursions team were superb throughout

The best tour in Rangiroa. The entire tour is well planned and the tour guides are helpful. The reef island itself is very natural and beautiful. Full of fishes, coral reefs, and small sharks. The lunch they prepared is super good and well beyond our expectations! And there’s dedicated English and French tour guides, who are very responsible as well to watch out for your safety. Anyways super worth the money.

Two exceptional days spent with family, 7 people, with Rangiroa excursion: the blue and green lagoons, and then the next day, the island of reefs. Incredible memories and unforgettable smiles and laughter, with the added bonus of a long-awaited encounter with a playful dolphin. Excellent day spent on an excursion with Marius and his team. Very professional and friendly welcome. Excellent meal, dream locations. Great captain and family who love to describe and tell stories. It was a pleasure to see schools of dolphins thanks to him in the Tiputa pass... thank you very much.
