Quebec City Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We very much enjoyed our Quebec City sightseeing river cruise. We had a little difficulty initially locating the boat and did not realize that we needed to convert our electronic voucher for a physical ticket. However once aboard the cruise was relaxing, just the right length and it was fun to see the city and environs from the water. The tour guide pointed out some interesting sights and explained a little about the shipping industry. The weather was a sunny, windy 68. We sat outside at the rear of the boat on the middle deck which protected us from most of the wind and were very comfortable. However make sure you have a jacket for layering. That said there was plenty of indoor seating with large windows and food and beverages were available to purchase. A very enjoyable 1 1/2 hours.

Very nice tour if you want to get outside the city and see the sites. Good humor and good stories made a wonderful afternoon. Thank you!

Fun way to learn more about Quebec City. Staff were friendly and helpfu. I recommend for groups or individuals.

The Falls and Basilica were both amazing. The smaller experiences of stopping at the chocolate and ice cream shop on the Island and also at the Copper Studio were both very memorable. Get the soft serve with milk chocolate dip— best ice cream treat ever. The Copper Studio was fascinating and friendly. Our guide Simon was entertaining and a wealth of fun facts. Highly recommend this tour.

Falls were worth seeing. Spent 3 hours and took the Gondola up and down. Bus schedule should be explained better when booking.

Our 'ghost' storyteller was animated, knowledgeable and interacted well with the group. I'd highly recommend this activity.

Learned a lot about Canadian & American history. Had a great time seeing all the different sides of Quebec. Rene was very knowledgeable & fun to spend time with.

We enjoyed seeing all the sights as well as some neighborhoods. Nice to see how the locals live. Loved it!

The tour was just right! Two hours and a manageable sized group. Because of the challenging terrain, the route was respectful of the physical limitations of some of the guests.

Simon was very informative. He answered every question and often built up anticipation before the next stop.

This was a nice, relaxing tour. It gave us a good overview of the island, and we stopped at two wineries, a vinegar maker, and a place that makes nougat candy.

Gabby was warm, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the island and the people and businesses there. It was a great afternoon and would strongly encourage participation in this tour.

The areas we visited on the tour were amazing. The island is a place we are planning to return to for a longer stay. 2-3 days should do it. The only downfall was our bus driver/tour guide (Martin)whom talk a lot about nothing. More clear info would have been appreciated. He had a habit of holding the mic too close to his mouth, so what ever he was saying we could not understand.

What a delightful experience! The goats are very sweet - all rescues, mainly from the dairy industry which discards male babies. Francois is the best guide you could imagine - personable, funny, kind and super passionate and knowledgeable about the land and the plants and animals that live there. His dog Luna is well-behaved and playful. The lunch at the end was fantastic. If you are wondering about whether to do it, please do. You won’t regret it. The walk is not strenuous. There were a few older people in our group who were a little slower and they managed just fine.

The tour was great, learned a lot about the city both past and present. Sam was a great guide, funny and informative. Appreciated the tips on where to go and things to see in the old city.
