Puerto Varas 2026 Calendar of Events

Joaquin was an absolutely amazing guide + driver. The other guests ended up canceling so we were lucky enough to essentially get a private tour. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and we had a wonderful day. Petrohue falls is even more awe inspiring and beautiful as it looks, and you get gorgeous shots of volcán Osorno in the back. Would absolutely recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful day!! Our guide, Joaquin, was so friendly and provided a great history lesson about the whole area, it was very fascinating! We were there in the off-season so the tour was just my friend and I, awesome to see all of the spots sans the crowds. We weren’t able to see the entire volcano as it’s usually hard to see in the winter, but it was all still worth it!

Very beautiful day in the company of Joaquin who was an attentive, kind guide with good explanations. Also leaves us space to enjoy the visits. Nothing to say, we recommend this magnificent excursion.

A good tour with the best duo that were Analia and Carlos. It exceeded the expectations we had. Totally recommended, a warm atmosphere, of a lot of learning, emotion, you can take it in English or Spanish, zero complaints. 10/10

Our guide and driver were both fun and very knowledgeable about the area. We learned a lot of the history as well as geological and botanical facts. The Lakes Region is truly a treasure in this world.

A 5. Toooodo wonderful 👏🏻 a 100/10

Rodrigo was an excellent guide & a genuinely nice guy. He’s knowledgeable & passionate about Chile & its people. The tour is a great way to see the key points in a whole day tour. Beautiful countryside, mountains & lakes. Recommended.

Our driver, Joaquin, was delightful, and knowledgeable. Even better, the other passengers were lovely, engaging folks. Our guide would translate the questions and shared information from the Spaniard on board. The catamaran ride was peaceful and scenic, but nothing compares to traveling up the side of Osorno Volcano on a sunny day. We were glad we’d brought our jackets as it was a windy ride on the ski lift! Even for Alaskans it was chilly. The panoramic views were amazing. So glad we spent the day seeing this area! Especially grateful that Joaquin stopped every time the other woman (who was a gem) on the tour or I saw a fox or bird!

Joaquin is a knowledgeable guide and we had a fantastic time and learned so much. My husband has mobility issues and Joaquin was very helpful in trying to accommodate him. We had a lovely day.

This was a well-curated tour with a fantastic English speaking guide who was called Paolo and who taught us so much about his country.

Cami is a very knowledgeable tour guide and so much fun to be around! We were able to see such Amazing sites with the volcanos, waterfalls, different lakes, walks on the beach, boat ride and a delightful lunch! Carlos is an Excellent driver, got us safely where we needed to go and had walking sticks to walk up near the volcano! We highly recommend both Cami and Carlos for your tour needs, you won’t be disappointed!

Such an amazing tour to see Mount Osorno and the surrounding areas! Small group, comfortable van with safe driver. Best part was our guide Camilla, who did a great job explaining everything in English to our family. You know a tour is great when the kids are sad it's over! Highly recommend this tour!

Great introduction to the volcanoes rivers and lakes surrounding Puerto Varas. Our lovely guide was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The bus was comfy, and the lunch location very pretty. I definitely recommend doing the optional boat tour, and the (expensive but worth it) optional chairlift up Osorno volcano

It was an amazing day, Camila is an amazing guide (and the sweetest person), Carlos is a very good driver and very kind! The day is a little expensive with all the added expanses (park entry, lunch, boat ride, etc) but it is 100% worth it to have Camila. We visit a lot of nice places and the amount of time at each is perfect!

Brilliant Day, Brilliant guide, Brilliant driver. Camila the Guide and Carlos the driver were Ace. Ace people, Ace day

Great exploration of the attractions in the area. Chairlift to top of Osorno is definitely worth it. Comfortable bus with aircon, knowledgeable and fun multilingual guide, and safe thoughtful driver.
