Great company and guides
I really recommend Rutas Outdoors if you are looking the hike up Villarica volcano. The guides Miguel and Juan are really great guides. They made sure we were safe the entire time and took a lot of photos. The equipment was very good too. Thank you so much!

Unique and unforgettable hike
I had a really great experience hiking Volcán Villarrica with Ruta Outdoors. They provide you with all the necessary equipment (backpack, shoes, snow pants, jacket, etc.), so you don't have to worry about much. We started the hike early in the morning, which allowed us to watch the beautiful sunrise from the mountain.
Juan, the guide, was extremely experienced and very kind, always making sure I was okay, and explaining every part of the hike clearly. I felt safe at all parts of the hike, even though the terrain can be a bit challenging at times. Highly recommend this hike to anyone looking for an adventure. Gracias por una experiencia inolvidable :)

Professional, Safe, and Unforgettable Villarrica Experience
We had an amazing experience climbing Villarrica Volcano with Rutas Outdoor. They provided all the necessary equipment, which was high quality and well-maintained, and everything was organized very professionally from start to finish. On a day before they took from us the exact sizes and all was waiting for us at the climbing day ready to use.
Our guide, Juan, was outstanding. He stayed with us the entire time, making sure everyone felt safe and supported. Even though we didn’t reach the summit, he handled the situation with great care and professionalism, always putting our safety first and keeping a positive attitude throughout.
We truly felt taken care of the whole way. Highly recommended!

The hike to Villarrica was challenging, but our guide, Juan, was really motivating. He took care of our timing, taking breaks and ofcourse our safety. His instructions were very clear at difficult spots or the sliding down, so that I felt safe at all times. The views were stunning, especially inside the crater and sliding down was so much fun and a great reward for the challenging way up. I especially recommend this trip because of the small hiking groups.

Beautiful, but exhausting
I liked the tour with Juan very much! . He always tried to adapt to the pace of the group and motivated us during the hike. The view inside the volcano at the end was amazing! Although it is good to have some experience with hikes, so the 1600m of altitude don't overwhelm you.

Great experience with an amazing guide!
Our experience was really amazing!! The tour was well planned and our guide Juan was simply the best. He explained everything super well, found a great rythm for the whole group and was super kind and fun too!!

We took the tour to climb volcano Villarica and were lucky enough to just be a group of 2 people (they do small groups anyway). It was perfect throughout. Juan guided us perfectly, had a great pacing and timing, while always taking care of our needs and even took many pictures. He answered all our questions and told us about the nature and mountains. Would recommend 100%.

The best experience
No January 8th, my partner and I climbed Villarrica Volcano with RutasOutdoor. We booked in advance, and the whole process was smooth, well-organized, and very affordable compared to other companies.The day of the hike was absolutely incredible. We climbed with Guide Juanzito, who has the most adventurous spirit we’ve ever seen. He was attentive to every single step we took, always making sure we felt safe, supported, and excited throughout the entire experience.The descent was honestly the best part — a truly unique experience, and I genuinely believe everyone on Earth deserves to live it at least once (haha). On top of that, the jokes and great energy along the way, combined with the guide’s impressive knowledge, made the whole adventure even more unforgettable.

It couldn't have been better
It was just an incredible experience. The guides were always on the move and made sure everyone reached the top safely. With small hints and tips, the group dynamics were perfected, attention was always paid to safety. Unlike other agencies, safety exercises should be conducted by all participants. I've always really felt in good hands.
Finally, we got a nice surprise and continued for a long time with
to the guides. Extremely sympathetic people :) I would always book with the agency.
We had the opportunity to book a lift for 20,000 CLP and skip the first HM.

Excellent
We had a wonderful ascent of Villarica. Our guide Juan was super nice and mega committed to keeping us out of the big tourist crowds. We were a small group (only 2 people). We learned later that the groups at this agency are probably a maximum of 6 people.
The advice on site was unfortunately only possible by phone, as at the time we were there only the kitchen was occupied, but we are still very glad to have booked here.

Ascent Villaricca
We had the best experience climbing volcano Villaricca with Rutas outdoors! A great local company with smaller groups (we were with 4 people). Juan, Carlos and Agustín were amazing guides who made us feel safe and made us laugh and enjoy the whole experience. You could tell they love what they do and value and respect the beautiful nature of this place. We also got some delicious smoothies, fruit and sweets after. 1000% would recommend them out of all the tour companies here!

Great experience with top professionals
Incredible experience with the best professionals.
Blas, Juan, Andrea and Augustine guided us on our ascent to the crater of the villarrica volcano.
New equipment and in perfect condition.
They explained perfectly what we would do on the expedition and prepared us for the smooth ascent.
Very good atmosphere always.
We highly recommend them.

Amazing!!!
It was great. Our guide, Juan, made the experience unforgettable. He has a lot of experience and knowledge. He's the ultimate!! The views were spectacular. Although it was difficult, climbing to the top was worth a lot, and it was super fun to go down a slide afterwards. Upon returning we were given a rich refreshment. They looked after us in every aspect. An amazing use of time and money here in Pucón!

Unforgettable adventure with beautiful views, super fun mountain descent with first-class guides and equipment!
We had an excellent experience! Climbing takes you to beautiful views of the region and the snow sliding down is super fun! The equipment provided was excellent, practically new and hygienized. The guide staff is experienced, super helpful and very friendly! I highly recommend this activity, an unforgettable adventure!
