Top-rated Pretoria Attractions, Landmarks & More

Location is an hour outside of Johannesburg. Our driver was on-time and kind. Tour of the caves itself was beautiful. The steps down/up are somewhat physically demanding. Tour of the Cradle was informative and educational.

Marvin was great! Enjoyed his overview of South Africa history and culture, friendly, was a strong ambassador for his country!

Exceptional tour and exceptional guide. Thanks Marvin for a fantastic, professional and very informative tour of Soweto and the Apartheud museum and a great taste of Johannesburg. Lunch was delicious too. 5stars.

Perfect, Maweza was a very attentive guide and knows the region very well. I suggest bringing sunscreen and water!

An unmissable, fantastic tour in Soweto made so unforgettable by the knowledge, 5 star professionalism, personal experience and warm personality of Maweza. We had Delone as a tour guy and as he had promised, it was a memorable tour. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. His knowledge about not only Soweto, bu also the surroundings on our way to Soweto was fantastic. We booked a half day tour and went on a Sunday.

Gabriel was informative about the history of South Africa and enlightening about the daily lives of its people as we passed them in their actvities, saw their homes, and shopping areas on the way to our destination. He was very helpful preparing me what to expect at the caves and the museum and encouraged me to take all the time needed to have a full experience. What a wonderful guide!

This was a fun and informative adventure. Our guide, Marvin, was informative and fun. My daughters asked lots of questions and he was wonderfully patient answering all. An over all lovely day.

Our guide, Marvin, was excellent. He had a terrific grasp of his subject providing interesting, relevant and detailed information about the City, Soweto, the museum and every topic we chose to explore. Thoroughly recommend Marvin as your guide.

A very informative tour. Our guide, Marvin, was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He made the trip fun and was never boring. He is the most genuine guide I have encountered.

Soweto cultural walking tour was incredible. Our guide, Moweza, has so much knowledge and passion about the history and has beautiful connections with people living there, giving you a real experience and a glimpse into how life is in Soweto and the different areas people live in

Very good guide Take the time to explain Adapts gives us choice for some activities Very much appreciated that he makes work full of young people from his neighborhood Nice experience

Aside from being a UNESCO World Heritage Site the examples and information given about humanities roots is substantial

We had a great tour and the best guide - Marvin!! Thank you Marvin for your kindness, care and joy!!! Diana

Marvin talked an incredible amount on the way there about the history, the social and political situation in Joburg. The caves themselves are interesting, the museum contains, in addition to paleontological topics, interesting things about evolution, biology, and climate change. However, it is aimed more at school classes, which were also well represented.
