Poznan Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Wiktor was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable, down to earth and friendly. Explained everything very clearly, was very interactive and engaging. He answered all our questions and made a 4 hour walk flyby. Would highly recommend to visitors to Poznan.

Peter was an excellent guide . He was very responsive to our wishes to focus on the 20th century, the fall of communism and what is happening now in Poznan. He also gave us wonderful tips for restaurants and other places of interest. I appreciated finding out about the St. Martin’s croissant. 😉I would recommend this tour. Thank you, Peter

Great overview of the history of the city. Wish we would have seen the inside of a few of the places we visited

Excellent introduction to the history and culture of Poznan. This tour includes many of the highlights of this beautiful city and you can experience it at your own pace.

Very informative tour and knowledgeable guide about Poznan and Polish history and culture in general.

Absolutely the best $9 I’ve spent on a tour! This self-guided audio tour of Poznań was clear, well-paced, and packed with fascinating historical context about the birthplace of Poland. The audio quality and narration were engaging and providing rich historical background. Doing it solo allowed me to explore at my own pace without feeling rushed. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Poznań!

Igor was our secret agent handler he was class, really fun, gets you all about the city and you interact well with the games. 100% recommend

It was a very fun way to discover the city, and the host was very nice and gave us plenty of recommendations afterward!

Very good, I'll keep M Application

Good experience, knowledgeable guide, few nice sites as part of the tour, recommended if you want to see some nice parts of city

Our guide, Mateusz, was extremely knowledgeable and kind, There was a mixup when we booked which led to our booking somehow ending up in Mateusz's spam folder. When we contacted Mateusz, he was extremely accommodating and generous. We were only in town one more day and had plans until the evening, and Mateusz went out of his way to accommodate our schedules; even though he'd had a long day of doing other tours, he offered to fit us in the following evening at the time that worked best for us. To top it off, he said due to the mixup, he would refund us our payment and provide the tour for free. His tour was so excellent, thorough, and informative, and he had been so kind to us, that of course we refused to let him do it for free! However, we were touched that he was willing to go out of his way to accommodate us and that he put so much effort into the tour even with the offer of a refund. That shows a huge amount of integrity. The tour itself was extremely informative; Mateusz is clearly an expert on the history of Poznan, and we loved getting to see the architecture and the old churches. The drone footage was also very cool. Overall, this was a wonderful tour with a knowledgeable, caring guide with a ton of integrity, and we would highly recommend it! It was the highlight of our time in Poznan.

Katarzyna made this tour of Poznan such an enjoyable experience. She was knowledgeable and interesting and made the city come alive for me.

Mateusz was very knowledgeable about the history of Poznan. He was able to answer all of my questions and had lots of photographs and maps to bring his historical narrative to life. The use of the drone really added an extra dimension, providing fantastic views over the city landmarks.

A very nice tour. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. We learned a ton about the city and its history. She also pointed out a pierogi spot where we later got the best pierogi I've ever had. Highly recommend this tour.

We’ve never done a self-guided tour like this. It worked out very nicely. It’s a little clunky to get going, you need to download an app, but once it started it was easy to use. Biggest plus is, you can stop and shop/eat/take a museum tour whenever you want. We’re not big on the private tours, we feel a little funny with one person walking just us around, and Poznan did not have any group tours or tour buses, so this was a great alternative. We saw all the main sites with good explanations about each. We also replayed the remarks on certain stops. Would definitely do this type of touring again

Joanna was an excellent, lovely, professional Guide. Joanna showed us about several places in Poznan. HIGHLY recommend the Tour, and, Joanna as a Tour Guide.
