Paraty Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Very well organized ! Our guides Louis and Pipo were excellent! Our Jeep driver Tuchi made us feel safe and secure. We met so many interesting people from all over the world, shared good food and laughs !

Unmissable trip, everything was organized by the manager of Pousada Arúa, trip to waterfall, forest, distilleries, natural places with spectacular views. Perfect for all ages, the family enjoyed it to the fullest. Lunch is served in a rustic, yet very comfortable restaurant. Thanks for every minute 🫶

This tour is a must. The guide’s were outstanding, explained everything, and had wonderful attitudes. Book this if you want great service.

Very beautiful day. Pleasant waterfalls, well-organized tour, very good lunch break (tasty and inexpensive), excellent guides (who speak English). Very pleasant views of the city with little monkeys in the trees.

6.5 hour tour of waterfalls, a Cachaça distilery, lunch at a restaurant and fortress. The tour is nice but not breathtaking. The dirt roads are bit bumpy, enough time at every stop to have refreshing swim. Lunch is buffet style with plenty of different choices from pasta, salad bar, meat fish etc. Lunch is not included and you pay per weight. Our guide Everton made the trip so much more fun.

Very good trip to the waterfalls, excellent guide, and in an equipped Jeep. We stopped at a Cachaça factory.

This tour is absolutely worth every penny. It was a gorgeous hike with many waterfalls, the famous rock water slide, delicious lunch break, tons of cachaça tasting, museum, AND ending at a viewpoint. Then at night when they drop you off, its the pure city center for souvenirs, shopping, events, etc. im so overjoyed and not only that. It actually went so well that we made friends and hung out with them later. Its truly incredible. Definitely book it !

Paraty Tours overwhelmed in all the activities we did with them! From the transfer from Rio de Janeiro (go and go) to boat tours (fished 3 with them) to Jeep Tour! All are super professional and nice, the boats a delight with excellent food! Super recommend any activity with them!! Thank you very much, you made our trip to Paraty be magical!!

This jeep ride will take you to super fun waterfalls and a traditional restaurant. ALL Paraty drivers are knowledgeable, careful and understand that you should be shaken up in the back when you drive rough.Tribute to these drivers

We sat with 6 people plus a guide and driver in an open jeep and visited the various stops (waterfalls, distillery, restaurant). Overall, everything went well. We can recommend the trip with a clear conscience. It was a fast-paced event!

A very enjoyable jeep excursion to beautiful waterfalls where we were able to enjoy a swim in some of their waters. Excellent support from our guide Luan. Very attentive to the entire group. The visit to the distillery was very interesting, and the attention from their staff was also very good.

Guides were good, waterfalls too. Only negative is all the diesel exhaust on the jeep ride. Guessing all the companies have the same issue, but it's noticeable. Get there a little early so you aren't in the back of the jeep.

Was a great experience. Fantastic sights and great drinks. Everyone else on the tour was really friendly. Would recommend to anyone traveling solo.
