Palermo 2026 Calendar of Events

My family and I had a great time. Andria met us at the door with bigs hugs. The cooking experience was out of this world. Chef made us all participate in the cooking from our appetizers to our dessert. We made everything. Chef and his wife made us feel at home and when sat down to eat what we made it was delicious. We arrived as strangers and left as family. You need to do this tour

Highlight of our time in Palermo. The chef and his wife were amazing hosts! The cooking experience was well paced and every participant was engaged in preparing the multi course meal. The meal was excellent and we enjoyed sharing life experiences with each other over win, delicious food and wonderful cannoli that we prepared. Highly recommend!!

This was by far one of our best days here in Palmero. Did the full day on the boat it was fabulous! The skipper and mate were so accommodating. Lunch was amazing…. And the views were to die for. I loved laying out on the front of the boat and taking in the views. I highly recommend….

Lovely way to see all the main sites in Palermo,but wear a hat if you don’t want to put the canopy up because it does get warm

Fulvio’s dinner was delicious! He pays attention to all the details. He opens up his home and is so warm and hospitable. He taught us so much about Sicily and the culture. He is a true treasure.

The tour guide (i think his name was Pietro) was fantastic. So knowledgeable and easy going with it. The tour around the parts of Palermo he took us on were great especially Santa Rosalia up on Monte Pellegrino. You could tell he was so passionate about the facts he was sharing. He gave audio, while the wonderful driver Antonio, drove us to the spots, and we would stop for him to explain certain places further. They provided drinks and snacks, and both were so lovely. So so helpful. Would recommend highly!

Absolutely the best experience in Palermo. The food 10 stars! The host 100 stars! Skip the fancy restaurant and be welcomed like family.

We did not love the tour but we loved our driver, Francesco. The tour itself included a stop at the mob museum and then a hunting retreat for a former king. The mob museum was an interesting story told by looking at pictures on the wall. I think I expected memorabilia of some sort. The hunting retreat was pretty empty (no antiques or family mementos to look at) just empty rooms and we did but have a guide so we didn’t learn much about it. I do admit that I did not properly research this tour. However the highlight was Francesco, he spoke very passionately about Sicily and Palermo. We learned a ton about the food, history, and culture. He is amazing and speaks English fluently. Highly recommend asking for him personally. We loved him so much we booked him another day.

Great experience would highly recommend. The wine and food pairings were great and super good value. The venue itself is very nice and relaxed with great decor and music. The host (Sorry I forgot your name) was very knowledgeable and personable and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

It was the best experience on our trip. The coastline and water is beautiful. The boat is very comfortable. The crew was amazing.

It was the highlight of our trip to Palermo. Carlos was a gracious host. His home is delightful and his garden/grove is beautiful. He really takes pride in showing his gift of cooking and providing the lovely food he grows. So much food, come hungry. What he has is a slice of heaven. I’m glad he is sharing it!

This was a wonderful experience. We learned so much about Sicilian cooking and traditions while. We can’t wait to try our new recipes at home. Alice and Francesco are lovely hosts and made this day so special. Highly recommend!!!

While the meeting spot left us wondering if we had the location, the young man who was our driver was top notch. Manlio was very professional, friendly and accommodating. Though not a formal tour, Manlio was very well-educated and knowledgeable about the region and happy to answer our questions. We enjoyed speaking with him very much and he is more than an asset to his agency. Grazie, Manlio!

I had so much fun picking out food at the lively Capo market with hospitable chef hosts, Alice and Francesco! After discussing options for lunch, Alice expertly picked out beautiful tuna for our appetizer and swordfish for our main course. We had a fantastic time choosing fresh artichokes, tomatoes, onions, shallots. Alice also picked out fresh, crusty and warm wood oven baked Semolina bread We had an excellent time cooking dinner together, giving excellent instruction. I appreciated Alice and Francesco warm and welcoming nature. We had wonderful conversation about food and life. They were both very knowledgeable about food and cooking regional specialties. I felt very much at home and was happy to practice making Cavitelli and Orchietti ( my son’s favorite) pasta. We also made a wonderful and simple ricotta and almond based frozen dessert, I appreciated sharing the fruits of our labor for lunch. I also look forward to making these recipes that I received from Alice and Francesco for my friends and family at home. Time very well spent and enjoyed! Gratzia Mille!

Our driver, Manlio, gave us lots of information about both cities during our drive and also some general information about Sicily and Palermo. He was friendly and accommodating and made it easy to focus on the beautiful cathedral and surrounding area in Monreale and the very picturesque town of Cerfalu. He picked us up near our accommodations and dropped us off without any issues. If we had not already booked other transportation, we would have definitely used him for other tours. The cathedral is absolutely stunning and a must see!
