Easter in Pacific Harbour (Updated 2026)

Absolutely the best trip ever. From the amazing guides, amazing long boat adventure up the river, visiting the village, amazing food for lunch, the tubing trip back down the river, the guides singing for us, their attention to us older folk was so thoughtful and all praise to them. Thank you for an unforgettable day trip 💯❤️❤️

Excellent experience, first class day tour with a touch culture. We were looked after from start to finish. Tour guides were warm and friendly. Delicious lunch. Topped off with beautiful traditional singing.

Excellent transfer service in Fiji! The driver was friendly, professional and punctual, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. Everything ran smoothly, making our journey relaxing and stress-free. I would happily recommend this service to others.

What a great day. Peter and Bale were great hosts. The boat ride up the river was beautiful. The river, the wooden boats, the scenery, company were all great. The tubing in the small rapids on the way back was fun. A must do activity

Great day with easy transfer to the river. Lucky to have beautiful weather so our village walk and waterfall swim were great plus delicious lunch where our guides sang beautifully. The coordination of the river tubing was excellent and once we were on the water we had so much fun. Terrific tour.

Booked transfer with Cool Destinations, there was a mix up in the departure. couldn't find a way to edit the time on Cool Destinations web site. sent message to Xplore. No worries, the fixed the problem, arrived on time, very helpful driver who stored and removed my luggage. Thank you Xplore

Fantastic day! The sand dunes and beach were breathtaking, Lunch was tasty. The day ended at the waterfall. It was a lovely walk and the waterfall was beautiful. We had time to swim and enjoy the beauty. Our guide and driver made the experience rich.

Unfortunately the waterfall was closed due to an incident, but we had a great day with the alternative itinerary. Instead of the waterfall hike, we went to a pottery village and the Nakadola beach which was very nice and the village was a great cultural experience. The hike at the sand dunes was relatively short and only took about 50 minutes, but it was very pleasant with some beautiful views. Raj was a great tour guide. He was full of information and kept us informed along the way of where we were going and what to expect. It was a great day.

“Wangs” was great ! He made the journey to the hotel delightful . Great conversation . The drive to the Marriott is about 45 min

This was such an easy process. They had your name on sign and were very friendly and polite. Great experience.

If you are considering this excursion, DO IT! This was, without a doubt, the most memorable day of our two-week trip between Australia and Fiji. Our day started early at 6:30 a.m. when our driver, Praneed, picked us up from Denarau Island. The drive to our destination was about three hours, but honestly, the time flew by. Praneed made the drive so enjoyable by pointing out interesting facts along the way and answering all of our questions. The scenery along the way was beautiful, too. When we arrived, we were given lockers for our belongings, and I was even able to rent a waterproof bag so we could take some things with us. We gathered our tubes and boarded the longboat, which took us to a small village. We had the opportunity to learn about the village, the people who live there, and how a portion of the excursion fees helps support the community. We absolutely loved learning about their way of life and the different plants they use for medicinal purposes. It was such a meaningful part of the experience. After leaving the village, we continued down the river by boat and stopped for a short five-minute hike to an absolutely beautiful waterfall. You can swim at the bottom of the waterfall, and we had plenty of time to enjoy it. It was truly breathtaking! Afterward, we enjoyed lunch in a beautiful area set up with tents. And I have to say — the food was AMAZING! It was actually the best food we had during our entire time in Fiji. Then came the tubing! We floated down the river surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen. It was peaceful, fun, and absolutely gorgeous. Then something happened that made the experience even more special. After we had been tubing for a while, all of the guides began singing. At first, I honestly thought they were playing music on a radio because they sounded so incredible. But they were singing themselves! Sitting in a tube, surrounded by God's beautiful creation, listening to those beautiful voices was incredibly emotional for both my husband and me. It is one of those moments from our trip that we will never forget. ❤️ Our guide, Dougie, was absolutely wonderful. He was so personable, energetic, and full of life. He made everyone feel comfortable and included, and he took pictures throughout the entire excursion. We were able to purchase the photos afterward for only $20 Fijian, which I thought was such a nice touch, especially since we were nervous about taking our phones with us on the river. I believe our boat driver's name was Siya, and he was wonderful as well. I would highly recommend this excursion to everyone! The only thing I wish is that the rest of our group, who were staying at the InterContinental, could have joined us. They didn't go because they weren't sure whether transportation was available from their hotel. If you're wondering about pickup, contact the company! They told us they can pick you up from anywhere, so don't let transportation questions keep you from booking.Yes, it is about a three-hour drive from Denarau, but the drive is absolutely worth it. The scenery, the village, the waterfall, the food, the tubing, the guides, and especially the singing all made this an unforgettable experience. We traveled around Australia and Fiji for two weeks, and this was our most memorable day of the entire trip. Thank you to Praneed, Dougie, Siya, and the entire team for giving us memories that we will treasure forever. Vinaka vakalevu!

Had an amazing time river tubing! It was definitely a long drive to get there, but the experience was worth it. The whole adventure was fun and a great way to enjoy the outdoors. The beautiful scenery, refreshing river, and friendly atmosphere made it a very memorable experience. Patrick was a great guide—friendly, helpful, and made the experience even more enjoyable. If possible, I’d recommend staying somewhere closer to the river to make the trip easier and more enjoyable. Overall, I’d happily do it again and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun outdoor adventure!

What an awesome day out! Picked up at the cruise terminal and taken to the river. All aspects were wonderful, the traditional village, the waterfall, lunch, tubing and the long boats. Highly recommend for a well rounded day out!

Very professional arrived early for pick-up. I felt safe travelling in the transport vehicle with a very friendly driver.

This is a full day must do trip. Consisting of a longboat ride up river, visit to genuine Fiji village (which, while receiving a stipend from the tour operator- they still live pretty much their normal life), a waterfall visit and swim, lunch and a downstream tube with some light rapids. At lunch: “the more you eat, the more you float”- which i suppose is partly true if you think about it long enough! Great experience and great operator. We were treated to the Fijian guides Singing as we floated down river- which in the tropic jungle surrounds was a true moment to remember. Only improvement that could be made is for the long boats to stay a bit more separated from the “flotilla” so the serenity can be enjoyed! Don’t hesitate to go on this trip.

Ravi was great, clear communication and got us to the airport efficiently ! Great service, would recommend
