Cool things to do inOlympic National Park

Had a wonderful time in Olympic. Our guide was so prepared and fun to be with. Felt very well taken care of and would highly recommend this organization.

Khadija was an amazing guide! We had a group with age ranges 6-70 years of age and she curated two beautiful days in the park for us that was doable and adventurous. We enjoyed the pace of the day and the yummy lunches and snacks!

An Unforgettable Olympic & Mount Rainier Adventure with Good Trip Adventures I can't recommend Good Trip Adventures highly enough! This tour through Olympic National Park and Mount Rainier was truly one of the most memorable trips I've ever taken. As a first-time camper, I was a little nervous going into the experience, but our guides, Khadijah and Sydney, made everything easy, comfortable, and fun from day one. Their enthusiasm, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the parks made a huge difference. Not only did we see some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Pacific Northwest, but I also learned so much along the way. Khadijah and Sydney shared fascinating information about the history of the region, the unique ecosystems of Olympic and Mount Rainier, and the plants and wildlife we encountered throughout the trip. Their passion for the outdoors was contagious and added so much depth to the experience. The camping itself exceeded all expectations. As someone completely new to it, I picked up valuable outdoor skills and left feeling much more confident and appreciative of nature. The food was also outstanding. I never expected camping meals to be so delicious and thoughtfully prepared.Beyond the hiking and sightseeing, the guides created an amazing group atmosphere with fun games, great conversations, and plenty of laughs. By the end of the trip, what started as a group of strangers felt like a community. If you're considering an outdoor adventure, whether you're an experienced camper or trying it for the first time like I was, I highly recommend Good Trip Adventures. Huge thanks to Khadijah and Sydney for an incredible experience that combined adventure, education, great food, and wonderful company. I left with unforgettable memories, new skills, and an even greater appreciation for the natural world.Highly recommended! ️️

So great to have Lasting Adventures plan this trip - we didn't have to worry about securing camp sites or equipment or food. Such a beautiful hike with wildflowers, bears frolicking in lake, bucks and fawns, marmots and river otter and wonderful to see both alpine lake backcountry and hoh. This is not an easy hike carrying bear cans and up 4000 ft elevation with 40 lb backpacks but it u are up for it totally spectacular and wonderful guide.

There’s so much to see in Olympic, and I’m really glad I booked a tour. Sydney was our guide, and her knowledge of the area made such a huge difference. With her guidance, we got to experience it all—the Hoh Rainforest, Rialto Beach, Hurricane Ridge—and even caught salmon swimming upstream in the Sol Duc, which was unreal. Every logistical detail was handled so smoothly that all we had to do was enjoy being out there. Thank you, Sydney, for making this an unforgettable experience.

So much to see that I’m glad I booked a tour. Sydney’s knowledge of the area was amazing. She always made sure we were comfortable with the hiking, made outdoor camping fun and was always smiling! Thank you Sydney for making this an unforgettable experience.

This was our second trip with Lasting Adventures and it was nothing short of amazing. Anna was an expert guide who took the time to get to know our goals for this experience, and truly went above and beyond to help us achieve them. We really appreciated her deep knowledge of the rainforest and local Native American culture. Anna’s positive energy was contagious and even during the most challenging parts of the hike she kept our energy high — there was nothing we couldn’t accomplish, especially with lots of snacks to fuel us! Our legs are spent and our hearts are full, and we are already thinking about where our next adventure will take us. I really appreciate how easy it is to backpack with Lasting Adventures — with all the high-quality gear provided, I really only needed to pack my clothing and personal items. All the communication leading up to our trip, including training tips and a packing list, is incredibly helpful.

What a great experience with my guide Anna hiking through WA's rainforest. I hadn't experienced such rainforest before, so the huge trees and nursing logs were a great and novel sight. The weather was unexpectedly good (I was prepared for the Twilight weather), which also enhanced the experience. I saw a lot of wildlife, including a friendly black beard eating and being annoyed by the people. The view of Blue Glacier was spectacular - the glacier looked like an ice cream in a bowl. Definitely recommend the hike: you will be taken care of by the guide, receive valuable knowledge about the rainforest's ecosystem and will be especially well-fed ;). Would not say that the hike was particularly strenuous, but probably some hiking and backpacking experience would be helpful.

We had a lovely experience with Felicity!! She did a great job chauffeuring us through the Park over two days. She catered the tour to our every whim with lots of thought and planning ahead of our trip and then additional thought to adjust to the weather etc. it is obvious how much Felicity loves her job and the Park. Her joy and enthusiasm for all creatures, plants and the eco system were infectious and made it difficult to not enjoy ourselves in spite of the constant rain . I mean how do you argue against somebody who is so excited when she picks you up that it’s going to rain ALL day!? She also gave us great tips for how to enjoy our time in Port Angeles and the Park without her. Thank you so much Felicity for making our trip amazing!

Fantastic tour of Quinault Lodge, rain forest, Ruby Beach, Sitka Spruce and Tree of Life I am Vegan and Khadijah was very accommodating with snacks & delicious lunch.

Khajidah was our guide and we had an action packed day, plus a great lunch. We got to the Hoh Rain Forest before the crowd and as we were the only ones on this early in the season tour, we set the agenda. We walked the Hall of Mosses and Spruce Trails before hiking the Hoh River Trail for a while. Then it was back to the parking lot where Khajidah quickly spread a picnic lunch, complete with tablecloth and on a damp day we had sandwiches, chips, veggies, and fruit. What a treat! Then it was on to Ruby Beach and a walk along the seashore at low tide. Then it was off to Big Cedar for the end of our trip. At the end Kahjidah apologized for keeping us past the alotted time. It was her clock that had ended not ours, and she had a three hour drive back to Tacoma. Would recommend this trip to anyone !

My friend and I did the 5 day/4 night Hoh Rainforest to Blue Glacier trip in late July and had a great time. I hadn't done any serious backpacking in 7 years and felt a little rusty on some of my skills, so probably wouldn't have attempted something like this on my own. It's so great that Lasting Adventures exists to help folks get out there! This trail was incredible - just absolutely stunning the whole way through. I'm so grateful to Hannah, our guide, for her knowledge and encouragement.Communication was great leading up to the trip. I felt well-informed and prepared. The gear I borrowed from them was good and the meals were great!

This tour was remarkable & our guide Lauren was amazing. We visited 3 locations Hoh rain Forest in Olympic National Park, Beach 4, and The Big Ceder Tree. Lauren guided us from the time she picked us up till the time of drop off with so much information. It was a perfect trail she picked up to the waterfall on the Hoh Rainforest trail up to a waterfall. Along the way she had a trail picked to a beautiful spot in the Hoh River. Along the way she had wonderful info about the eco system of the forest. Beach 4 was a fabulous stop. Lauren had planned a perfect time of day when the tide was low and we hit some fabulous tide pools. After Beach 4, we headed to the Big Ceder Tree… an amazing 1,000 year old tree that was astonishing to look at. This tour was so worth it! Thanks for the amazing experience!!!

This was a great company with great service. Beau was our hiking guide and he texted days before to see what drinks we would like for the long day and he picked us up right outside our hotel at Forks Motel. The two biggest take always from the experience were 1. Beau was the perfect tour guide! He was extremely knowledge and personable. He made great conversation along the way and let you set the pace. His love for the outdoors and nature came across in all the interesting facts he had about the surrounding ecosystem. We learned all about the nurse logs and the colonnades among other fun facts but you will have to book yourself to learn the rest. 2. Although it is obvious it’s still important to emphasize; Nature preservation is vital. Be aware of your surroundings, and each organism, no matter how small plays a big roll!

We had such a great time exploring ONP with our guide Beau! Our guide picked us up at our hotel (2.5 hours away), brought snacks & water, and had a thorough knowledge of all the stops along the way! We saw amazing ocean life during low tide, the tree of life, Ruby Beach, HOH Rain Forest & Big Cedar, etc We stopped at an awesome lunch spot and then were back off to explore more of ONP. I had shared that it was my son’s 25th birthday and our guide brought a cake that he unveiled at the last stop! It was awesome! A very memorable day for both of us. Thank you!

We were so lucky that we found Good Trip Adventures. We enjoyed a whole day with our friendly and knowledgeable guide Beau. He catered to our wants and needs and took us to places we would never have found ourselves. They quickly responed to questions beforehand. We definitely recommend them and will reach out for any of our future tours.
