Nyaung U Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

I had a wonderful tour with Min through Bagan and Mandalay. Very informative, good pace, interesting places and always flexible to adapt to personal wishes. Myanmar is great and I would not hesitate to come again and also use the guides and drivers here! They were always on time and we had nice food/drink stops in between. Thank you for 4 great days!

We had the best 2-day tour of Bagan and Mt Popa with Nway Nway. She spoke perfect English, was so knowledgeable about the area, and kept us engaged throughout with the stories and legends behind each of the temples and stupas we visited.Myanmar is generally safe for tourists to visit. But having Nway Nway by our side gave us extra assistances due to her knowledge of the area. She can also assist with transfers, tours and more throughout Myanmar. Do not hesitate to book with Nway Nway.

This tour was a dream… peaceful, well-paced, and full of hidden gems. Our guide was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and made the history feel alive without ever rushing us. The views were breathtaking and the entire experience felt soulful. Truly unforgettable.

This was a great trip. My guide was very knowledgeable about the past and current history. It’s a troubling time to be in Myanmar and hear the stories first hand, but it impacts the trip that much more. Highly recommend a stop in Bagan with a guide to make the most of it.

Nway Nway from One Bagan Tour provided an outstanding experience during our visit to Bagan and Mount Popa. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about sharing the history, culture, and spiritual significance of every place we visited. Her explanations were engaging, detailed, and easy to follow, bringing centuries of history to life and helping us appreciate each site far beyond its beauty. She was also very organized, attentive, and always made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. Thanks to her warm personality and care, our visit felt personal rather than just another tour.If you’re planning to explore Myanmar, I wholeheartedly recommend contacting Nway Nway. She truly made our journey unforgettable.

Dear Nway Nway, Thank you so much for two wonderful and memorable days exploring Old Bagan with us.From the very beginning, you were always on time, kind, polite, and incredibly helpful. Your English is excellent, making it so easy to understand the fascinating history, architecture, culture, and traditions of Myanmar. We learnt so much thanks to your knowledge and passion for your country.A special thank you also to our driver, who was always smiling, friendly, and made every journey comfortable. We truly enjoyed every moment and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If any of my friends ever plan a trip to Myanmar, I will recommend you without hesitation.Thank you again for making our visit so special. We will always remember these two amazing days!

I had the pleasure of a private tour with my guide Myo and his driver Mister Tay. We really covered a lot of amazing places including numerous temples and payas, a delicious lunch stop, a visit to a lacquer workshop, and finally a view of a gorgeous sunset from high on a hill. I was very impressed with Myo’s in-depth knowledge of the many types of payas and Buddha statues. I had no idea that there were so many varieties of temples, payas, and Buddha statues. I really had a great lesson in history in Myanmar. I would most definitely recommend this tour!

great tour guide and driver, really knowledgeable and super englishsaw all the main sights in a full day

A great guide with great storytelling, knows the temples and the stories behind them, and also shares the life experience in Myanmar.

Had a couple of days in Bagan and was a wonderful guide with great English and over 12 years experience would recommend to others and I’d book again!

Our tour with Mr Min was truly incredible, he showed us the highlights of Bagan with many temples and pagodas, he found us local food and drinks to try and taught us some of the language. He was truly very passionate about what he does and it’s probably the best tour I’ve ever done and I hope one day to come back to Myanmar to explore more of the country with Mr Min! Thankyou from your new British friends!

The guide Mr Min is very nice and helpful. He is very informative and familiar with Bagan I love the local foods he recommended and the way he present historical. Since there is not much tourists, it is the best time to visit Bagan for the photo & vacations

It was crazy, a very teaching tour and a very special country. Noah has been accompanying us since we decided to come to the country. She answered all our questions, helped us build the trip and sent recommendations on very beautiful places we were in. An amazing woman who shared with us her personal story made us a delicious meal and was very interested in us. We had a very special experience and recommend it to everyone especially with Noy Nu.

Noy Noy is a great guide! She explained to us in good English and answered every question, shared her personal stories with us and introduced us to her home with love! The trip to Bagan is beautiful among the temples, and Noy Noy also took us to her favorite viewpoints in the city, where we were able to be completely alone despite the busy city, saw the sunset on a secluded hill with amazing views! Even before we did the column with her, she helped us with everything we needed during our trip to Myanmar!

I did the Bagan and Inle Lake tours and everything was extremely well organized and thoughtfully planned. The team was very friendly, the drivers were safe and professional, and the guides were organized, knowledgeable, and welcoming throughout the trip. The car was also in good condition. I had a long list of places I wanted to visit, and even with limited time, they managed to cover all of them smoothly.A special highlight goes to our guide Min — truly one of the best guides I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

5-Star Review – Bagan Temple Tour with Ma Nway NwayWe toured the temples of Bagan with Ma Nway Nway and it was first class from start to finish. Her English is excellent, clear, and easy to follow. She explains the history, culture, and religious significance of each temple in a way that is informative without being overwhelming. You don’t just walk through ruins — you understand what you’re looking at.She planned the day well, avoided crowds where possible, and made sure we saw both the major temples and some quieter, lesser-known spots. The pacing was perfect. No rushing, no wasted time.Ma Nway Nway is professional, punctual, and genuinely knowledgeable. She answered every question confidently and added context you would never get exploring alone. If you are visiting Bagan and want more than just photos, book her. Highly recommended.
