Welcome to Marble Falls

Deep in the Hill Country of Central Texas, set along the banks of the Colorado River just below Lake Lyndon B. Johnson, tiny Marble Falls is a busy retirement, tourism, and recreation center. The historic downtown grew around the water-powered factory developed along the tumbling river in the late 19th century. Dammed in 1951, the river now creates Lake Marble Falls that can be seen and walked to from Main Street. Marble Falls is in the heart of the Hill Country wine region, so vineyard tours and tastings matched with fine dining experiences are major attractions. Active sport options include walking or biking nearby trails, golf, disc golf, boating, paddling, fishing, and swimming.
