Madison Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Nice narration about the history of and sites along the North Shore Scenic Drive. The narrator has a pleasant voice and is entertaining. Commentary is very helpful. Well worth the cost.

This was my second experience with Get Your Guide. My first was with the “Road to the Sun” through Glacier National Park. So, when I saw that they offered one for the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota, I was happy to see it and quickly signed up for it. The tour begins in Duluth and accompanies you all the way to Grand Portage right at the Ontario border. Lots of interesting history and great suggestions about where to stop along the road.

It’s a bit of walking with some history mixed in. Ghost stories but no ghost sightings. Our tour guide, Mattie, was great!

Great way to spend the evening laughing. Once we figured out the app, it was very easy and everyone could get involved and take turns.
