Great Luxor West Bank tour with Roshdy!
The tour of the West Bank in Luxor with Roshdy as a tour guide was great. He and the driver were punctual to pick us up at our hotel in the morning of the tour. From there, we went directly to the Valley of the Kings. During the drive, Roshdy provided a lot of good information about Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. Once we arrive, he provided an overview of how visiting the tombs works. Since we arrive relatively early, there weren’t a lot visitors yet. We chose the tombs we wanted to visit (3 of the included ones with the main entrance ticket + 3 additional tombs). He provided information about each tomb before entering them, and he waited for us until we visited all the tombs we wanted to visit. He didn’t rush us. Once done, we went to the other stops in the tour. The driver was always ready to come pick us up with the A/C already running. Everything was great, Roshdy was very friendly and provided a lot of information. At the end of the tour neither Roshdy or the driver asked for a tip. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Very impressive tour with an amazing guide
We had the luck to do this amazing tour with Amera, a truely lovely person to be around with. Amera's English is really solid and profound. She has a calm and clear voice without any accent which makes it really pleasant to listen to. During the tour she'll make sure you are comfortable and have all you need.Amera is knowledgeable about the ancient cultures as well as the current culture and is happy to answer all your questions. During our tour, she provided us with just the right amount of information enabling us to gain a deeper understanding of what we saw in the tombs or temples.We had an amazing day and would, without an inch of a doubt, recommend doing this tour with Amera.

We loved the tour! Our guide, Salwa, was incredibly knowledgeable. She studied Egyptology in Cairo and was able to tell us so many fascinating things about all the different sites. We had e private tour which meant Salwa was able to adjust the tour to our needs and wishes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with our guide Ahmed Abo Elkasem. Pick up was on-time at the Hilton in Luxor. Ahmed provided an excellent tour of the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon. He was attentive to our questions and ensured we made the most of our time there. Hassan - Really wonderful guide - patient and so knowledgeable. He explained everything in excellent English. He was so enthusiastic and made the trip memorable. He was also kind enough - as it was a private tour - to change the itinerary for us. Carters house was one thing I wanted to see. He gave us tips on which tombs to go into and, as we had seen Karnak, he gave us more time in Luxor temple. Simply this was a fantastic experience made more perfect with Hassan’s commentary.

Enjoyable morning on the West Bank.
Salwa was a great guide for me and my 13 year old daughter. She was knowledgeable and her pace was comfortable. She was also understanding when we wanted to skip a stop (shopping). Our driver's car was clean and cool in the June heat. We enjoyed the lunch at the end and we're able to head back to the hotel before the hottest part of the day began. I'm so glad we saw the sites of the West Bank as an intro to our trip to Egypt.

Fantastic first hot air balloon ride in Luxor!
Pickup was super early via van and then ferry to cross the Nile. We waited for hours with hundreds of other travelers flying with many different companies. Good thing we scheduled our first morning in Luxor, as all flights were cancelled by the agency that regulates balloon rides. We were dropped off at a meeting point for our next tour of Valley of the Kings/Queens, rather than a returning back to our hotel. This was convenient. We did have the next day available, so we rebooked and hoped for the best. That night happened to be Egypt’s return to standard time, so clocks fell back and we were picked up an hour earlier. Same process as previous day… van, ferry across the Nile, wait hours in the dark while being pestered by vendors selling goods, mostly children. But this day the balloons went up. What a glorious sight to see the balloons inflate on the ground… have your camera ready We were given premium spots in the balloon because the workers recognized that we had returned a second day. (Most people around us the previous day couldn’t rebook, as they were leaving Luxor.) The flight was epic. It feels like nothing when you leave the ground and float through the air. We had great views of the sunrise, Valley of the Queens, and the other balloons. All went well with the flight and landing. Transfer back to our hotel was smooth. Highly recommend this experience!

Cool Rewards

  • Cool Rewards is a loyalty program operated by Cool Destinations. Rewards may be earned by any eligible person holding a Cool Destinations account, subject to the Cool Destinations customer Terms of Use.

Earning rewards

  • Rewards can be earned by making bookings on the Cool Destinations website. You will be able to see the value of the rewards you can earn during the booking process.
  • Earned rewards will be issued in a pending state and will move to a confirmed state 24 hours after the start time of the experience.
  • Earned rewards will be available to redeem once they are no longer in a pending state.
  • For bookings that are moved to a different travel date, the rewards will be redeemable after the amended travel date.
  • If a booking where rewards were issued is canceled, the earned rewards will not be redeemable and will be moved to a canceled state.

Redeeming rewards

  • To redeem rewards, you must be logged into your Cool Destinations account.
  • Any available rewards will be automatically applied the next time you make a booking, and their value will be deducted from your order at checkout, unless you choose not to apply them, which requires you to indicate this via the toggle switch. Bookings made using rewards are subject to the standard Cool Destinations Customer Terms of Use.
  • You will not be able to redeem only a portion of your available rewards at checkout. It is only possible to redeem all or none of your available rewards.
  • There is no minimum order value required to redeem your rewards. This means that you can pay for 100% of your order with rewards.
  • Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • If rewards are redeemed against a booking that is canceled or refunded, the rewards will be reissued to your account.

Miscellaneous

  • You can check your Cool Destinations account to see the rewards you have collected at any time. You are responsible for ensuring that your rewards balance is correct.
  • We reserve the right to modify these Cool Rewards Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without notice, including the rules for earning and redeeming rewards. Any changes will be reflected in the updated Terms and Conditions.
  • We reserve the right to terminate the Cool Rewards program and cease issuing any further rewards on future bookings. All pending and available rewards balances will be honored.
