This experience was the highlight of my trip to Jamaica our driver Big Mike was so nice and accommodating he let us feel so comfortable and safe we got to take some fantastic videos and pictures, we had coconut water and the famous RUM Punch 🥊 it was punching 😆 The raft guide Derrick was also great, FUN and knowledgeable. What an AMAZING experience! This was easily one of the highlights of our trip and something we’ll definitely remember. Our driver, Mike, was professional, friendly, and got us to our excursion quickly and safely. Bones and Jay were absolutely awesome! They were so much fun, had great energy, and truly made the entire day such a great experience. They kept us laughing and made everything feel fun, relaxed, and memorable. One of the best parts was getting to enjoy local jerk chicken right on the river — it was SO good and made the experience feel even more authentic and special. We had such an incredible time from start to finish. If you’re looking for a unique, fun, and unforgettable excursion, I would 100% recommend this one!

Although things started very rough with the pick up, we enjoyed we the bamboo raft ride, and let me tell you, we hit the jackpot with our captain. Before I delve into the experience, I want to acknowledge that the customer support team at Cool Destinations was very helpful.So, Captain Lennox, a proud Rastaman, turned that river into a full jungle masterclass. This man would casually pull over, climb INTO the trees, and come back down with things for us to try like it was a floating farmers market.We learned about the power of allspice and guinea root, and he even showed us castor oil seeds and explained how they’re used. He made us straws out of bamboo. He cut open a fresh coconut for us to drink right there on the raft. Then he cut sugarcane, drizzled it with lime, and we sucked on that sweet, tangy goodness as we floated downriver. It was part nature tour, part cooking show, part pure joy. We learned so much.The time flew by. If you get Captain Lennox, consider yourself lucky. This wasn’t just a raft ride, it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. Highly, highly recommend!

A fun boat ride for some snorkeling and then time swimming inside the cave on the west end of Negril. Beautiful waters and sights along the cliffs! Great family adventure!

Rick was an awesome tour guide! He showed us the tourist spots AND a couple places off the beaten path, and we had a terrific time with him. Very knowledgeable about Montego Bay and its history, and a lot of fun to spend the afternoon with.

Our group of 11 from Chicago had an absolutely unforgettable experience on the Montego Bay Jerk Tour and Rum Punch Food Tour! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine Jamaican hospitality from our hotel pick up that made us feel like family. The authentic jerk chicken at Scotchie’s was outstanding, and the jerk sauce was hands down some of the best we’ve ever tasted. We enjoyed a fascinating tour through local neighborhoods, learning about Jamaican culture, family values, and everyday life. The fresh, hot beef patties were amazing, and sipping Tingz, ginger beer, and a freshly made rum punch was the perfect touch. By the end, we were beyond full—we were stuffed! Ending the day with beautiful photos by the beach and pier was the perfect finale. Thank you, Rick, for an authentic, fun, and delicious experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jamacia . ONE LOVE FROM CHICAGO!
