Lori Province 2026 Calendar of Events

Very nice rafting experience. River was never too wild in July but some funny moments. The whole team and especially our instructor Aram were very welcoming and we always felt secure. Ask them for tips to also visit the region around (monasteries are worth it; also great hiking possibilities); ideally check ahead the exact meeting location and plan to have an overnight.

Our best memory from Armenia! Riding horses in this beautiful scenery of Lori province was a great experience. Highly recommended!

Great experience in a beautiful landscape; also for beginners. Saro is a great guide who was also extremely helpful in organizing our transport from Jerewan and back. Highly recommend.

The horses are great. The monasteries and mountains are beautiful. Saro is very kind and has great historical knowledge of the sights.

Saro, our guide speaks English, was friendly and accommodating, he was also patient with the kids to ensure everyone was safe and enjoying the trip. The horses were calm and friendly. The views throughout the track were spectacular. Highly recommended for adults and kids.

This was one of my best days in Armenia, although I have lived here for 2 months already. Our guide was very hospitable, kind, and helpful from the beginning to the end of the trip. We got to ride through a small village and see the canyon— this is a wonderful way to experience rural Armenia in a fun and warm environment. At the end of the excursion, we ate a home cooked meal and drank homemade vodka. If you can do this trip, please do so. Life-changing.

We missed the bus so went there late, but the host is very nice to us and offered to delay the trip. He also helped us a lot when finding taxi with the negotiation and giving us tips such as glide for the blue sharing taxi rather than the others, which are really useful.

Fantastic scenery, beautiful horses and wonderful guide who was very accomdating with our pick up and drop off. We had a deliscous lunch too !

Our guide Saro was fantastic. We took in breathtaking views of the landscape, our guide gave us lots of interesting information along the way, lunch was delicious, and our horses were very good. Would recommend. 5 stars!

The guide was nice. We had coffee with a local guy on the top of the valley. Was a nice experience and I recommend to everyone. Though the trip description did not match the actual trip, we had still lots of fun.

Fantastic landscape. Guide was helpful and was fluent in english. Great to see Monestary. Great experience.However The horses was not really fit and we had to walk much of the distance. Also there was much garbage on the trail....
