Lima Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

The tour had an amazing variety of excellent food from Peru, and our guide, Marcos, could not have been more welcoming and available to tell interesting facts and answer questions!

Marcos was a great guide! He was funny and spoke with me in Spanish; was patient as it’s not perfect but somewhat proficient. I feel this was totally worth the money and time. All the foods were delicious and they accommodated the several allergy or other dietary restrictions people listed off in the group. Definitely book this!!

Really great trip! With all the stops definitely a full meal, making it worth the quite high fee. It’s a bit difficult to get to the starting point in traffic, but you’ll just have to take extra time for it. Aura, our guide, was really knowledgeable and very nice! The food was great, and we tried a lot of new foods we wouldn’t have otherwise. Definitely recommend!

We booked this food tour hoping to try some local dishes, and guide made it so much more than that. She clearly knows and loves Peruvian food, and she brought every stop to life with stories about where each dish came from and how history shaped it, from Indigenous ingredients to the Spanish, African, Chinese, and Japanese influences that make Peruvian cuisine so unique.She was friendly, easy to talk to, and happy to answer all our questions. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and we tried things we never would have found on our own. We left full, a little smarter about Peru, and with a long list of dishes to look for the rest of our trip.

The Private Pachacamac Tour was the highlight of our time in Peru. Jordan provided the history of Peru prior to arriving at the site. He throughly explained the exhibits in the museum at Pachacamac and escorted us on a tour of the site. Our driver, Facundo, was friendly and a great driver! We would definitely suggest this tour as it was fantastic.

Cesar and Felix were amazing tour guides, they made us feel like their own family and explained everything about Lima their neighborhood and culture of food and art. An amazing experience. You must definitely experience.
