Lausanne Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We spent two great days with Emmanuel during our two weeks in Switzerland. One day was exploring the art of cheeses in and around Gruyere and the other exploring exclusive wineries in Lavaux.His vehicle was very comfortable for our group of 4 adults and he was a personable and knowledgeable guide, helping us explore the culture and taking us to off the beaten path secret places. He could not have been more accommodating and flexible with his scheduling and we really enjoyed our time with him.We often seek our guides in our frequent overseas travel and Emmanuel is the type of person we always look for when we do. You can’t go wrong spending time with him during your holiday.Highly recommended

It was very informative and fun. The food was delicious and the tour was great overall. We were late at the meeting time but Christina our guide still waited and called us that was really a thoughtful gesture. I would highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Laussane!!

This was a perfect way to see and learn about Lausanne. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city. We went to a good variety of restaurants, and the food did not disappoint. It was just a perfect day. We highly recommend this tour.

A fantastic tour, very well organised and a real eye opener for a couple of Aussies. I am unable to put into words how absolutely amazing and breathtaking Zermatt and the Matterhorn are!

Absolutely breathtaking to and our guide Thomas looked after us very well. The other folks in the trio were very welcoming. One detail- in the trip description it was not clear that the gondola rides were extra.

Had a lovely day on this tour, visiting the castle and having 3 tastings. The last wine place we went to - Lavaux Vinorama - was particularly stunning, with really good wines. Had a very nice lunch with an amazing view surrounded by vines. You get to see a lot of the area - passing through some of the towns as well as getting great views from the hills. Would recommend if you want to see the area and understand a bit more about, and taste, Swiss wines.

This was absolutely amazing. I downloaded the app as I arrived in Lausanne and entered the code and straightaway was given the directions to my starting point At no time was I rushed and I walked around the university and cathedral and when I reached the general area the tour started up again. I would absolutely recommend this and will look for tours like it in other places I visit. The information was perfect and interesting without being overwhelming Definitely worth the money

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about wine tasting, the vinards and the process of making wine. The sommelier were nice, and one in particular was like a brother! The Castle excursion was top notch as well. This was a terrific experience for my wife and I, the scenery, the wine and the interactions made this excursion!

We took the trip from Lausanne to Évian-les-Bains. We had a fantastic boat trip over Lake Geneva. It became an unforgettable trip to beautiful Évian in the summer heat. A nice day trip, and take this trip again.

We had a lovely day with Christian. In addition to enjoying the chocolate we had a wonderful tour of the old city and learned many interesting facts. Christian was a wealth of information on history, art, culture and chocolate! Making our own chocolate bars at the end of the tour was really fun.

Very pleasant time, the staff is friendly and accommodating. We arrived two hours before the meeting, they picked us up without problem.

WOW! No words can justify the thrill ride to heaven above and below, the dive from 15,000 ft. from a plane, with 120 /hr. wind was exhilarating and pulsing throughout your body, and all with the confidence of safety of your instructor-ABLE-pinned to your back on the cost of his life. Excellent handling from riding the bus to the station,orientation,safety gears and landing. Felt unique for the EAGLES EYE VIEWS ON THE TOP OF ALPS, It was phenomenal to experience while living. A long bus ride but was able to make pit stops for shops, bathroom breaks and lunch. The views were stunning! Shops were amazing. They had everything from small boutiques to luxury high end stores. Plenty of restaurants. We were given enough time to tour the town on our own. Many people chose to hang glide, I did not : ). It’s a must-see when you are visiting Switzerland.
