An amazing trip! 💙
Rangko Cave was SOOO pretty, and such a unique experience. Snorkelling was amazing too (saw so many fish!) + the views on the way were the best. Everything was pretty smooth + the local guide was really nice.... :) Would 100% recommend for anyone visiting Labuan Bajo to come for a morning/afternoon getaway🐠🌊💙

Breathtaking cave & smooth ride, amazing Labuan Bajo gem
Highly recommend! This is our second time visiting; definitely a must-visit in Labuan Bajo. The 15-minute boat ride out was smooth, calm, and beautiful. Getting into the cave requires stepping onto a tiny rock ledge and climbing down, but it is entirely worth it. The inside is breathtaking, with a vibrant blue pool of water. I had lots of fun swimming in it; the vibes inside the cave were like nothing I've ever experienced. This was a major highlight of my time in Labuan Bajo, made even better by our incredibly friendly and helpful guide. 10/10 trip, and I would love to go back a third time!

Gua Rangko
We booked a half day Rangko Cave with PT Nagia Tour, Labuan Bajo. Look for Roland +62 821 1533 1266. Roland is very patient, helpful, gentle in nature to help you enjoy your trip in Labuan Bajo.
We had a good time at Rangko cave, swimming, taking beautiful pictures. He also can arrange Komodo island Open day trip and 3D2Ncruise depart every fri.

Great half day experience 😊
I booked this trip 2 days before I went and within an hour I had confirmation and a message from Alba tours.
The whole trip ran on time and was very well organised. Anchel was the driver and guide, he picked me up in an air-conditioned car with young student guide, Alfred. We did a quick and easy hike up Amelia Hill first, then onto the boat at a small village. Next, Boleng beach where we saw dolphins before stopping for a snorkel. The water is calm warm and there were so many different fish to see. Unfortunately the coral is dying, but it was still very beautiful to see and there was plenty of time to snorkel. Next we went on a short boat ride to Rangko cave and docked at a wooden jetty.
A short, easy hike to the cave, good shoes are probably best for the rocky part. Because I went in the morning the sun was not shining in the cave, but it was still an amazing experience. The water was slightly cooler than the sea, but not uncomfortable. Once yours eyes adjust you can see plenty of detail and floating around on your back you can see the cave features and enjoy the little birds flying around. I was the only tourist on this trip and it was very peaceful. In the cave another two tourists came with another tour company and it was lovely and quiet. Also, the two men that ran the boat were very efficient and easy going. After the cave we were allowed to chill on the beach and buy snacks and look around. There is also a toilet there .

Pleasant afternoon.
Overall a nice way to spend an afternoon. The guide was a student but fine. The boat had seen better days but was fine for the 20 minutes each way trip. Snorkeling was interesting with just a mask and snorkel but no fins provided ?? Fish life and coral were better than expected but we had dived the day before so weren’t expecting to be over awed. Trip to the lookout to watch sunset with top 300 friends was pleasant and nice way to finish. Would recommend.

Wonderful time with Alba Cruise crew
I have absolutely wonderful time with Alba tour guides. I boarded authentic wooden boat. It was so unusual but wonderful experience in terms of climbing in/out and going through pier with a lot of missing parts. If you are Western abd with some mobility difficulties, this tour is not for you. But you want some adventure in your life, go ahead!!! My incredible driver Ansel took me from hotel, show some sights, and safely bring to this small village, where tour started. The road has non-stop turns, and ups and downs. If you are prompt to motion sickness, please think ahead. Snorkeling was fantastic in pristine clear water. Coral reef is alive and beautiful. When we left our second stop, cave, monkey was there.

Wonderful half day tour with amazing sunset point
Altogether we stayed three nights on Labuan Bajo and felt it was a good balanced stay. For first full day we chose a full day trip to surrounding islands. But for second day we searched for exactly this relaxed and beautiful tour!It was perfectly organized. We wanted to sleep long, and enjoy the sunset, so we booked the 13:30 o clock tour. We were picked up at the hotel, and then enjoyed amazing snorkeling on a traditional wooden boat with cool guides. We saw many colourful fishes, chorals so close and sharp. Also we saw blue star. We enjoyed it a lot. And it was beautiful surrounding scenery. The cave was ok, also to swim inside, i enjoyed the short walk to the cave a lot. Along nice nature. It is a perfect match if you search for half day tour.Do not touch chorals and try not to use sunscreen to not harm marine life. The sunset was an unforgettable highlight and a must see for you!! Really amazing! And outstanding!!!! For the sunset you can bring by yourself some bananas or chips… we had also some water, but water (small bottle) is provided by tour guide. The tour operator is also very kind.We enjoyed it a lot.

Amazing sunset, cute wooden boat and pretty snorkeling!
Super snorkeling! You have a super relaxed and cozy experience. We did an early bird full day trip on one day, and on the second day, we did this tour to the cave with previous snorkeling and sunset tour. Basically, we felt that three nights, two days are a relaxed choice on labuan bajo. With a full day trip and here this tour as relaxed part on second day. The sunset point is really really worth it!! Wait for the full sunset! Also the snorkeling was nice with blue star, many colourful fishes, and traditional boat and kind tour guides…. Also the nature and surroundings was very nice to see. Honestly, the cave i would not need. But the snorkeling, traditional wooden boat and sunset would let me book it again and recommend it to anybody, as additional relaxed day on top of previous full day tour offered on this platform also.. so this tour makes your experience round. We booked the 13:30 o clock tour that we enjoyed the sunset fully and could sleep long.

Worth it
Great adventure made so by the guide who took us to the cave & snorkelling. Cave a fun experience. Despite the rain the snorkelling was super(the water was really warm). Finished with a short climb to see a wonderful sunset.

Punctuality and professionalism
Precise agency and young and serious guides. Advice. Punctuality and professionalism. In a few hours you go with the driver to a panoramic point, then snorkel and then cave.

Loved the cave and snorkeling
In the order that we did activities (we started at 8am)
1. Amelia Hill Sea View: nothing that special, could have skipped. It’s supposed to be a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset, but we weren’t there during that time. We drove to this. The other two places were by a motorized wooden boat that is very loud (so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise). I am more prone to motion sickness that others, but this boat was ok for me).
2. Boleng for snorkeling: awesome! I saw weird starfish and fish that I’ve never seen before, not even during the long Komodo Island day tour. However, I wasn’t sure where I was supposed to go because there’s no guide in the water with us. No flippers provided, but easy to float (I normally cannot float well). The coral didn’t seem very dead like I read in other reviews. Plenty of fish to see.
3. Rangko Cave: WOW. We arrived around 11am and the cave was so dark, but as the hour passed, the lighting hit the inside the cave so that you could see it. The water is incredibly clear, warm, and easy to float in. Also, be aware that there are bats in the cave, but they aren’t dangerous and they don’t fly too close to you.Improvements: Could be nice to be more structured. For example, tell us the order of activities at the start of the tour because it seems like the order changes based on the time of day that we sign up for. Also, tell us how long we have at each place / what time we should try to be done with each activity.Other notes: there were only 5 of us on the tour. I saw in other reviews that the driver didn’t speak much. My driver didn’t speak much but I didn’t care and I didn’t ask questions. His English was great though. Also, there is a restroom before we leave for snorkeling, as well as at the cave.

Didn’t know what to expect but quite happy with excursion!
This was a really lovely trip. It is simple, no frills, but we packed a lot in for 4 hours! The snorkeling was our favorite part. Beautiful reefs, blue starfish beneath us, monkeys on the beach in the distance. Some of the snorkeling equipment didn’t work well, and the life vest for our 12-year-old suddenly snapped open while she was in the water. The boats are loud but get the job done. The cave was so unique. It was crowded but worth seeing. The hike to Amelia Hill was short but quite steep and slippery for our flip flops. But beautiful views. A few other reviewers mentioned the long, rickety dock used to access the boats. It is absolutely not for young kids or the elderly… or anyone that is unsteady on their feet. But it was a bit of an adventure on its own for our family!

A good way to start your morning
Lovely excursion to a quiet reef and cave. No information really about the areas. Kind people and beautiful scenery
