Above and beyond service
Eduardo and his team member (don Juan ), I believe, were awesome to tour the volcanoes and Mayan sites. Eduardo was funny, knowledgeable and entertaining. Everything was smooth and on time. The lunch spot that was chosen for my husband to eat at, had such a beautiful view (Casa 1800). I highly recommend Salvadorean Tours with Eduardo. The service that was provided was above and beyond.

More Than Just the Views
First off, I have to mention our tour guide, Eduardo. He is very passionate about El Salvador and extremely knowledgeable about the history of his country and the Americas. He also shares his own opinions and perspectives about El Salvador, its government, and the Americas. You may or may not agree with everything he says, but come with an open mind and enjoy the conversation. For me, his passion and knowledge of history made the experience that much more interesting. As for the tour itself, you really get a little bit of everything. You get beautiful views of the volcanoes and Lake Coatepeque, spend time at Cerro Verde, and also get to experience the Mayan history of El Salvador at the archaeological sites.A lot of people travel looking for that perfect Instagram picture, and trust me, you’ll have plenty of opportunities for those here. But this tour gives you much more than just good pictures. You get multiple stops, beautiful scenery, Mayan history, and a chance to learn more about El Salvador throughout the day.If you’re looking for an experience that’s worth your money and allows you to see several different sides of El Salvador in one day, this is it. I really enjoyed my time on the tour with Eduardo. I would definitely do this tour again, especially if I came back with someone who hadn’t experienced El Salvador before.

An unforgettable experience on the Route of the Flowers!
I took a private tour and the experience exceeded all my expectations. I went without a group, accompanied by the driver Noé and the guide Stanley, who made the tour extremely illustrative and special. I loved that they didn't just limit themselves to showing me the route: they spoke to me with a lot of pride about their beautiful country and its people. We visited wonderful towns:Nahuizalco: We visited its church, the local market, and walked through its streets.
Concepción de Ataco: We took a coffee tour, visited the church, saw the handicrafts (I recommend bringing cash), and toured the town.
Lunch at Casa 1800: The food was spectacular and the viewpoint has a beautiful view.
Café Albania: By my choice, we stopped by at the end to finish on a high note.
I recommend this agency and this team 100%. Thank you for making my trip so special!

This is a must tour!
I highly recommend this tour! If you’re all about sightseeing and exploring Mother Nature such as lakes, vegetation, volcanoes, Mayan ruins, this is it! All-in-one under the AC and short hikes. Great experience! Our guide Stanley Escobar made it more fun! He had so much knowledge about the history behind volcanoes and Mayan ruins!

Fantastic experience for a 1st time trip in El Salvador!
This was a compact and informative trip to visit the many breathtaking sights of El Salvador in one special day. I was picked up directly from my hotel by the driver Noe. We spent the day discovering the lush jungle and mountain landscape of this magical country. Light walking on mostly flat trails with insightful detailed cultural and historical facts by the bilingual Spanish and English guide Stanley. We stopped for lunch at a lakeside restaurant with a spectacular lake view. Communication with the tour company was excellent and they made sure I had the meet up location and confirmation details the day before and the day of. Highly recommended and an easy 5 stars.

Good non strenuous way to see volcanoes
Good non strenuous way to site may landscape sites in San salvadore area. Still
Expect 4 hours of driving due to traffic but a good amount of time spent at Mayan sites with great historical detail provided by our guide Adonis who was a great guide. Good views of volcanos, although they are distant views so be prepared (we knew this but some don’t realise).

10/10, was amazing!
This was another great tour, my 4th on the trip. The driver, Jorge, was on time and provided great conversation during the highway rides. The guide was also great; he provided context and history that enriched the overall experience. The Mayan ruins were amazing and I have memories that will last a lifetime. The restaurant served excellent food, and the view of the volcano lake is unlikely anything I have previously seen. Lastly, the Cerro Verde nature hike was a cool (temperature) break and was the perfect way to end my trip.

A nice day of sightseeing
This was a good day tour to see some beautiful natural sights outside of San Salvador. Ruins were interesting with museums on site for each. The driver and guide were both super friendly. Lunch stop was at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the lake and food was genuinely awesome. Highly recommended this tour for someone looking for an easy day trip outside San Salvador.

Excellent tour
We had a great experience, among adults and children, on this guided tour by Alfredo Díaz. Where he demonstrated great knowledge of all the points visited, providing many interesting facts, with great cordiality.
The driver Vitelio drove safely and was on time at all times. Thanks for this great day!

The Perfect Introduction to El Salvador
This tour was the highlight of my visit to El Salvador. We started with incredible views of the four volcanoes before taking a gentle hike through Cerro Verde National Park to the viewpoint overlooking Lake Coatepeque. The panoramic views alone made the hike worthwhile.Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious traditional Salvadoran lunch before diving into the country’s fascinating history. Visiting San Andrés provided great insight into the ancient Maya, and ending the day at Joya de Cerén, the “Pompeii of the Americas,” was unforgettable. Seeing an ancient village preserved beneath volcanic ash offered a unique glimpse into everyday Mayan life.A special thank you to our guide, Alfredo, whose knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for El Salvador’s history and culture made every stop come alive. He was friendly, engaging, and happy to answer every question throughout the day. I’d also like to thank our driver, Jorge, for getting us safely and comfortably to every destination. Together, they made an excellent team. The pace was perfect, with plenty of time to enjoy each stop, ask questions, and take photos without ever feeling rushed. As a photographer, I especially appreciated having enough time to capture the scenery without feeling like I had to hurry. If you want to experience El Salvador’s volcanoes, archaeology, history, and local culture in one well-organized day, I highly recommend this tour. It exceeded my expectations, and I would happily do it again.

Jorge to the rescue!
Overall great experience. It started off with a little setback due to driver issues but the guide Stanley was able to resolve things relatively quickly and was able to still provide a great experience. Stanely was my guide. and Jorge was my driver. They were really fun people to be around and I appreciate them for all the clear communication before the tour and explaining things really well during the tour. Both Stanley and Jorge were very personable. Stanley was very passionate about the Mayan sites and has lots of experience for the volcanoes making him a very valuable guide. Jorge was really great at connecting with and can give lots of good inside on things to do around the country. The Mayan sites were really cool and easy to navigate around. There is lots of history and cool sites to see. The volcano/lake had lots of scenic areas to it. Knowing what I know now, I would have tried to hike into Santa Ana for a different tour because it looks great but that will have to be for another time. Overall it was a great experience and could easily recommend for others.
