Koblenz Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

I did a tour with Wright Europe again this year (4th one) and it was amazing again. I sent Steve a list of all the places I wanted to go and the Castles I wanted to see and he worked out all the details to make it happen. We spent 26 days driving around Spain, with a side trip into Andorra, and had an amazing time. So glad I have started doing the private tours (cost a little more but well worth it) since I can see all the sites that I want to see and none of the stuff I don't. Ronda, Cuenca, Tossa de Mar, Peniscola are just some of the overlooked places in Spain that not everybody gets to see and enjoy. Spain is a beautiful country with lots to see and do and I am sure that I could spend a lot longer there taking in some of the festivals, doing more in depth visits and even just kicking back and relaxing on the beach. Planning another adventure with Wright Europe right now and I am already looking forward to another great trip, I can't wait for spring to come around.

The ship is very good, stylish, and modern. The service staff is friendly and accommodating. The tour is very informative and yet relaxed. The captain had a very pleasant voice and she spoke very clearly. Everything was translated into English.

Lovely relaxing trip and beautiful sites down the Rhine. The audio could have been louder but very happy they offered English because it was informative info.

Was a very nice and relaxing time out on the water seeing different areas of Cochem. The weather was perfect and the breeze was everything. Staff was great as well! Had a really nice time.

I had the good fortune to go on the Wright tours for German auto manufacturers. The tour was fantastic. I have traveled Germany before. One of our guides was from Germany. Having a native along helped in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I remember my first trip. Didn’t always get food I liked. Thanks to Maria, that didn’t happen this time. She would question me about what I liked and then come up with suggestions. I can honestly say I did not have a bad meal when we were in Germany. Also had so much fun with both Steve and Maria. They both have tremendous senses of humor. Made the museums much more entertaining. They are both great people. Also great to get to know our fellow traveler. We also saw other “attractions”. From Nurburgring race track to the Nymphenburg Palace. Steve and Maria had some really good insights to some of the tours. I had friends take the same tours and did not get all the information we did. So much fun. I would do a Wright tour again without hesitation. Thank you Steve and Maria. We had a wonderful tour with Melanie, and it was a pleasure to meet her. We truly enjoyed the tour and especially appreciated the opportunity to visit some of the restaurants and see their beautiful architecture.She also gave us some great recommendations for our bike tour along the Moselle and mentioned a few places we should visit. Had a great half day with Armyna doing the Eltz castle tour. She's a really good guide with lots of knowledge of the area and castle. Thanks for the transport too, appreciate that side of things as a solo traveller.

Well worth doing, especially when combined with the fortress. Amazing views, interesting history. Then saunter round Deutsches Eck, the German corner, take a cruise and finish off with ice cream.

Great excursion for the day. Castle tour. Relaxing boat ride. And ended day with Riesling wine tasting. Would recommend 🍷

It's quite a hike to get to the castle, but definately worth it. There is a bus that you can pay extra for. The tour was nice and the grounds are pretty.

Very nice way to discover Koblenz in a different way! Just make sure you bring an extra battery for your phone 😁

The three venues, Castle, River cruise and Wine tasting, the staff at all of them made the trip fun and enjoyable. Kudos to all those involved

Searching the locations together using a map on the website and answering the questions was very nice. With each question you received a piece of information, interesting! A fun way to explore the city and make sure you've seen the highlights!
