Kennebunkport Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We went late sep right as a nor’easter was blowing in and captain wanted to ensure everyone was comfortable so we only saw a couple of islands before headed back to the Saco river and sailed across river , little disappointing but good experience none the less , will def recommend

This was a great way to explore Kennebunkport! It’s casual and fun. Nobody stressed when I had to walk a few hills☺️. Our guide, Teresa was amazing. Lots of knowledge and info of the area

An excellent experience. Locals were on the tour with us and said they learned things they hadn’t known. Really fun and interesting stories about the history of the town, the ship captains, their homes. Julie knows the locals and their stories. Our only suggestion would maybe be for the tour to advise ahead of time for where to park. We ended up with a parking ticket as we don’t know the area at all.

This easy walking tour, on mostly paved surfaces with some grass, was very enjoyable. Our tour guide, Paula, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Kennebunkport and the many stories related to ghosts and the supernatural. She was friendly, answered all our questions, and helped everyone cross streets safely. I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn a bit of history paired with some ghost stories. Fun but not too scary.

The trip was really excellent in all respects. For first timers it was very educational with regards to lobstering, the industry & the geography. Most of all our captain was exceptional particularly in light of the fact my wife was not feeling well, he was more than kind & accommodating.

Alicia was amazing! She provided an extensive historical view of Kennebunkport and even surrounding communities. Her historical knowledge was interesting and informative. We enjoyed every minute of our bike ride! Thank you for giving us your undivided attention and afternoon. Money well spent!

Dawn is an EXCELLENT tour guide. Her knowledge on the history of Kennebunkport and the "how it was" pictures she shared were great. Very interactive with us and answered all questions. Enjoyed the tour very much and would highly recommend it.

Our first sailing experience on the ocean will not be our last. The captain and co-captain were friendly and knowledgeable. Felt very comfortable and the views were amazing.

So much fun and even though it was 3 hours long, it was interesting and the guides were just so friendly and really knew the area. Loved seeing the Bush compound and then the whole area is just simply beautiful. The e-bikes were dependable and had great power.

The experience was wonderful. They took time to make sure the bikes fit us properly and we understood and practiced how to use the e-bikes (our first time on e-bikes). Matt, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient. His narrative was detailed and warm. He offered to take our picture at all the scenic stops. It was a perfect way to get to know the area and enjoy the lovely Maine coast.

Koby and Matt did an OUTSTANDING job showing the sights of Kennebunkport to our group. Excellent historical information along with a good sense of humor and wit! The views were amazing and the e-bikes were so much fun to ride-super easy with a lot of power! We did not want the tour to end! Give it a try!!!

We really enjoyed seeing the city by bike, Alyssa was very knowledgeable about the beautiful city and plenty of fun facts.

We had the best sailing trip with Captain Bob! We were the only couple who ended up signing up and they still took us out on the boat and we just had the best time. Captain Bob taught my husband the basics of sailing and let him steer. It’s a great way to relax and spend time on the water. Two hours isn’t quite long enough to venture very far out of the bay, so if you’re wanting to see more, book a longer trip. We thought two hours was perfect to enjoy the water and spend time on the boat. Highly recommend!!

Great experience! Excellent historical perspective of the community. We lucked out and had an absolutely beautiful day to walk the town.
