Kamloops Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

The information was interesting and well timed. It came on automatically throughout the drive and ends exactly where it said it would.

We enjoyed this very much We drove from Kamloops to Revelstoke but it works in either direction. They had fun facts and historical character actors sharing info. Each vignette is only a few minutes long. I enjoyed the information about the Canadian railway and how they chose that pass. It was a fun thing to do and not very expensive.

Highly recommend!!! Exceeded all my expectations. Entertaining and educational with great suggestions for stops. It made a scenic drive even more interesting. My husband and adult daughter loved it just as much as I did and asked me to look for more itineraries.

This added so much to our trip. We loved it. But a Canadian friend disagreed with some of his opinions.

Learnt a lot of information about the local area. Would've liked to have heard music in between points of interest

What a cool way to keep occupied and learn about the places you are seeing as you drive. We had no issues with the audio connection in the car. Everything worked like a charm. I will definitely try to find more audio driving tours on my next adventure.

What a great trip! Took us longer than 4 hours as we stopped so many times to check out the sites and wonderful viewing spots. We loved hearing the tour guides and quiz questions, they were a bit corny but definitely entertaining and fun….even for my 10 year old son. We would recommend Tripvia for sure!

Enjoyable way to spend time in the car with the family. The guide was able to link the audio with where we were on the map.

A fun way to explore the downtown area. The directions for starting the game were somewhat confusing. Ziggy our host was unrealistic but it gave us a giggle.

Good information, could do without loud sound effects. While driving through the mountains, amidst curving roads and semis, the sudden opening of a new site came with a semi horn sound effect! Scared us to the point I turned off the tour!

Over all good, just need better directions how to use, the actually tour was good, but difficult to know how to use the app, especially with a rental car which I guess a lot of people would be using

What a wonderful idea!! We loved hearing about some of the sites that we were passing and their history. They even talked about some of the animals and we did get to see an eagle. The tour guides were entertaining and the quiz questions fun. A great way to learn about our country! Can’t wait for the next Tripvia trip!

Something fun and different to do along the way! Some of the facts and information were interesting, some cheesy and some very "punny", but I like that sort of thing. Set it so it would just come on as we passed things. Got a free Starbucks drink out of it as well. I did well on their trivia questions. Worth it.
