This tour was fantastic. We were so happy that we got to see the NT with Offroad Dreaming, we definitively would not have had the same amazing experience if we had tried to follow the same itinary on our own. The team were so lovely to work with, from the initial booking, to pickup, meals, equipment etc. everything was executed professionally and confidently yet also with a level of care and friendliness. We were very fortunate to have Nev and Steffi as our guides during our five day adventure, Nev’s knowledges of the region was quite incredible about the aboriginal art sites, the local birds, tress, fauna and of course crocodile stories was definitely an added bonus and it is this detail that you would not get travelling without these guys. We went to bed in our tent each night feeling happy with full bellies, excited for what the next day would bring. I would highly recommend this tour and Offroad Dreaming, so much so that they will be who we choose when it comes to visiting the Kimberley's. Excellent experience with plenty of crocs and other wildlife. Dennis provided informative, educational and entertaining commentary throughout the trip. Outstanding, thanks.

We did the 6.45am cruise & it was an excellent choice. Many crocs seen one caught a bug catfish in front of us. Plenty of waterbirds as well as in trees Wedgetail eagle, a couple of Sea Eagles, Blue kingfisher. The morning was ideal and perfect in every way. Our boat driver tour guide did excellent job finding so many birds & crocs . Highly recommend this cruise is a MUST DO. Certainly could have done it again .

My partner and I have just enjoyed one of the most interesting and enjoyable holiday tours of our lives. We went with Neville and staff of OffRoad Dreaming to Kakadu, Katherine/Nitmiluk and the Litchfield National Park. The five day camping tour was full-on, but well planned. We saw and experienced an enormous range of flora, fauna and First Nations culture and rock art. Neville’s knowledge is only exceeded by his love of his subject. And he needs no lessons in catering, his Barramundi was better than Darwin restaurants! The countyside was stunning and the rock pool swimming holes heaven. Can’t recommend it enough. It will take weeks to absorb all that we have seen and experienced. Thank you Neville and Steffi. Richard & Vivienne.

Our flight was to a major highlight of our trip to the Northern Territory. We flew from Cooinda, at relatively short notice - after chatting to the person at the Kakadu Air Desk, who turned out to be our pilot, Ben. The pre flight preparation was well organised with. everything to expect fully explained before we were driven to the airfield.The flight and the commentary helped us understand more about the ecosystems and indigenous communities who live on country as well as putting the vastness of this amazing area in perspective! He was also happy to answer our questions at the end of the flight, which was much appreciated.Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Our guide Tim, was fantastic. He provide such a wonderful, interesting and knowledable commentary the entire trip. Maybe bring breafast, if you don't get a chace to eat before the early pick up, snacks, lunch and a snack for later, our tour finished at 8.15pm. We did stop at a lovely tavern and they sold food but we spent over $70 on cheese burgers x 2, two cokes, 2 coffees, ham and cheese sandwich and chichen wrap. Nice, but burgers were tough, chewy and fatty.

Wow, what a day. After a slow start, we were entering the bus with 19 participants, hence plenty of space in a 28 seater bus. From the start Dylan engaged with us all and made this one, long day, a great experience. He shared local anecdotes, explained everything arround crocodiles, Kakkadu, and the different seasons in the year. The jumping crocodile advertisements set us first off, a bit too touristic, but it was clearly worth while. The guides made it informative and enjoyable at the same time. In Kakadu, Dylan was a great guide for exploring the wall paintings and still taking care that all participants could follow the small walks through the ever increasing afternoon heat. The stops were well outlined for lu breaks, although the first was may be a bit early. If you have only a day time, this trip with Dylan as a driver and guide is clearly recommended.

What a wonderful way to experience Kakadu from the air. Our pilot was friendly and had a good commentary on what we were seeing.

Tim, the tour operator, was a great guy and very responsive and Shawn, the local aboriginal guide was super impressive. The visit to Injalak Hill was amazing, with incredible rock art. We also stopped at the Gunbalaya art center which was very small and local. Overall, wonderful introduction to aboriginal culture.

We had an amazing day doing this tour. Our guide, Glenn, made it an awesome trip by sharing his knowledge and passion for the region. We had two great swims in picturesque locations.

Megan was a fabulous, knowledgeable guide and we loved the waterfall she took us to for a swim. Great morning tea and lunch, a good look at Kakadu, and the swimming was magic!!

We had a brilliant day in Arnhem Land with Tim from Top End Day Tours and our indigenous guide Craig from the Gunbalanyah community. Once we arrived at the foot of Injalak Hill, Craig led the way, stopping frequently for us to view the remarkable rock art and the glorious views across the countryside. Craig was happy to answer all of our questions. He learned the stories of the paintings and the lore of the Bininj people from his visits to the hill with his elders as a boy, and he felt a responsibility to pass on the stories and explain the lore of his people. He brought us to a sheltered lunch spot that afforded glorious views across the billabong to Gunbalanyah and the floodplains beyond. We were constantly within metres of some of the finest examples of rock art in Australia - an experience not to be missed. Tim made sure we were well fed and had plenty of water available. His relationship with local guides like Craig ensures that visitors will get maximum value from their time on Injalak Hill

The experience was amazing. Our tour guide Betty was very informative and professional. It was an easy walk to Maguk Falls. The waterfall was great and the water temperature was just perfect. Will definitely consider book another tour in the future.

Amazing experience made even more fabulous by our wonderful tour guide, Betty. Not only was she very knowledgeable about country and culture, she was a delight to talk to and her enthusiasm and passion for her job was infectious. Felt very safe returning in the dark with Betty at the wheel.

Exceptional river cruise for wildlife sightings, humour & commentary by the guide & a peaceful sunset vibe! Saw lots of crocs, birds & water buffalo plus gorgeous landscapes! Highly recommend !
