Ixtapa 2026 Calendar of Events

Luis is prompt and very friendly. He communicated prior to our flight arriving and tracked the flight so he was there right as it landed. He provided some waters and some additional information about what to do.

It was amazing! We got to spend the day in their beautiful home and felt like guests invited to dinner. The food was amazing the host and their family were so welcoming. And I can't wait to make tamales for my family

The host Carlos and Elsa are so welcoming. The class started with a walk in the market and learning about the ingredients. The class took place in their lovely home. Very hands on experience. Everyone got to participate in all the dishes making. Their house is beautiful and the star fruit tree in their backyard has the most fresh star fruit.

This was our 3rd tour booked with Luis this week and, once again, we were happy with our decision. The estuary where we kayaked is full of birds, fish and a sense of calm. Luis was very knowledgeable about the vegetation, the birds, the fish and the area. At the end we took some time to watch the surfers surf the Playa Linda break. Highly recommend this tour and our guide, Luis.

Luis is absolutely fantastic! We’ve visited Zihuatanejo three times, and each trip has included different excursions with him—and every single experience has been fantastic. . His knowledge of the area, history, and local culture is incredible, and we always come away having learned something new and meaningful. We can’t recommend him highly enough—if you’re planning any excursions in Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo, Luis is the person to go with!

Prompt and friendly service. Very good communication via email and WhatsApp. Our flight was delayed twice and we were able to contact them quickly and adjust our pick up to a later time. They actually contacted me once to inform me that my flight time had changed and gave us the option for a later pick up. Great service and friendly drivers.

We met down at the Muelle and walked up and down taking pictures in all different settings and poses. It was friendly and comfortable the whole time. And we got amazing, unforgettable pictures. We’re booking again next time we’re in Zihua!

Our tour guide Carlos was fantastic and his english was extremely good. We had a great tour of a Coconut farm and Museum and roof tile making as well as a 5-star lunch at the Beach. Our conversations en route talked to the history of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa as well as the local agriculture. We asked Carlos many questions about life in Mexico and he was knowledgeable and well spoken. A thoroughly enjoyable tour which we highly recommend as you really get to see parts of the area that are off the beaten gtrack.

My family and I (8 adults and 2 children) got our photos done this spring on a beach in Ixtapa during the sunset. The photographer met us there, had great communication and guidance and took great photos. They sent us our edited photos within 10 days (cleaned up the background very nicely because it was busy that night), they were a fair price and they’ll be a great keepsake for our family. Highly recommended!! My family loves them.

This was a very interesting morning, and Carlos is an excellent guide. We saw a coconut plantation, a tile-making operation, and a restaurant where women were making tortillas by hand and cooking them on an open fire. In addition, Carlos is knowledgable about the local fruit trees, native woods, and birds. His English is excellent, and we conversed on a variety of topics. It was a wonderful chance to see traditional enterprises and something of life outside the city of Zihuatanejo. Highly recommended

This was a wonderful experience! The hosts, Carlos and Elena are warm-hearted, joyful people that share their knowledge and culture with care and patience. They field all questions and create an authentic learning and engaging experience for everyone. I have memories and skills that I will revisit many times.
