Indonesia Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

The Ubud tour was amazing, as was my tour guide Putu. The sites were incredible and Putu was really flexible and knowledgeable and took care of me through the whole trip. He showed me around, gave me tips and tricks and really let me design my own tour with his expert guidance. As a solo woman traveler, I felt really safe all day. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!

We had a great time visiting the attractions in Ubud. Adi, our guide was great from pick up to drop off. Very informative and kept us entertained during our day out.

This was much more than we expected from a cooking class. We started by exploring the beautiful tropical garden and learning about local herbs, vegetables and spices before cooking together. Everything was prepared from scratch and we made many different traditional dishes. The atmosphere was friendly and personal, and afterwards we enjoyed all the food we had cooked. A fantastic way to experience the food and culture of Lombok. Highly recommended!

We had such a great time at Senggigi Cooking Class. The experience was very hands-on and relaxed, and we learned how to prepare several delicious Lombok and Indonesian dishes using fresh ingredients. The garden tour was a lovely part of the experience, especially seeing and picking some of the herbs and spices used in the cooking. The family was welcoming, patient and explained everything clearly. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Lombok.

Good hike, very nice guides and a butifull birw

We went hiking with Nano, and he was such a kind, patient, and helpful person. He was also a great photographer! We laughed a lot and had a really good time. I was very happy to have him as our guide. He is exactly the kind of guide you want to have!

Amazing day starting with the night climb and beautiful sunrise view on top of Mount Batur! Turah was our driver and guide (2nd trip with him) and he was absolutely brilliant :D he picked us up early and guided us through the hike. On the return journey, we had plenty of time to relax at the hot spring and learnt a lot about Balinese culture and religion from him. Thank you so much, such a fantastic day!

We spent four days with Bagus and we had a really great time. We already had in mind the main things we wanted to see and he accompanied us to all the stops with a very comfortable minibus for our group of 10 people. He was always available, flexible, and ready to adapt the schedule to our needs.One of the things we appreciated most was his knowledge of Italian: he speaks it almost perfectly! This allowed us to chat easily during the trips and to ask him many questions about Bali, local traditions, and daily life on the island.The advice we feel like giving is to discuss the itinerary with him before each day to define it well. In Bali, traffic can be truly unpredictable and just stopping a little longer for a visit or for lunch is enough for the times to change completely. Having a fairly clear schedule helps to make the most of the day.Overall, it was a very positive experience that we recommend without hesitation. If you are looking for a guide who speaks Italian and a comfortable, relaxed, and reliable way to visit Bali, Bagus is definitely the right person.

An Italian guide… in Bali!We had a really great time with Bagus Sunarta. The thing that struck us immediately was his Italian: he speaks it almost perfectly and this made everything much simpler and more pleasant, especially for those who are not used to speaking English.He accompanied us to the various locations we had chosen using very comfortable vehicles, allowing us to move around in complete tranquility and without worrying about anything. Bagus was always available and followed us throughout the day with great kindness.Our advice, to make the most of the day, is to schedule all the stops with him in advance and try to plan the times as much as possible as well. In Bali, traffic is truly incredible and time management can be complicated: it is enough to go slightly over time on a visit or a lunch for travel times to lengthen significantly.Precisely for this reason, relying on a local person like Bagus, who knows Bali and its rhythms well, is certainly a great advantage. Experience absolutely recommended!

Zero Gravity Diving was an excellent choice for our visit to Bali. They picked us up on time from our hotel. Rental gear was new or close to new. Branco was especially helpful completing payment details. Our dive leader, Robert, was a complete professional. On the boat and in the water he was attentive. He provided extra help to one of us who was a bit seasick and had some buoyancy issues He took videos and shared them at the end of the day. Always polite and responsive to any need. A fun, 3 dive day! I would definitely dive with them again.

It was a nice experience. The driver was punctual and friendly.

We arrived early and the staff was ready to explain the process and get us started. They have a wide variety ot dresses and colors to select from. The locker room has staff that will assist you with fitting into the dress.I chose to wear shorts that day so I would have something on under the dress. They have a wide variety of stations for you to take pictures. The staff will use your phone to take a series of still and video shots. I had an amazing time and loved my pics.
