Welcome to Hershey

Located 14 miles east of the state capital Harrisburg, the small town of Hershey Pennsylvania is famed as the home of the Hershey Chocolate Company. In 1905, Milton Hershey built a mass-production milk chocolate factory in Hershey that became the world’s largest chocolate manufacturing plant. The amenity-filled town built for the factory workers in 1906 included a park that has grown into Hersheypark, a family theme park with outdoor attractions, amusement rides, a water park, a zoo, and resort lodgings. Hershey offers candy-themes tours and attractions, 4 golf courses, and several museums including the AACA Museum with over 130 antique cars, buses, and motorcycles displayed in themed settings.
