We had 2 full days of game drives af Kruger National and it was a memorable experience. Our guide on both days was Rudolph who took extra effort to make sure we enjoyed the trip. He was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information. We we're fortunate to see many animals including the big 5.

Efficient and friendly booking with Kirsten. We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Weevil - he was so excited to have us a see a mix of Big 5 and the Ugly 5. He was interactive and great with our kids, highly recommend!

Wonderful experience.
This was a fantastic amazing experience. I would definitely recommend doing this tour as a fun excursion around the Safari. You see all the animals in their natural. Driver was very knowledgeable and supportive throughout the journey.

Lions Hunt a buffalo
# Lions Hunt a BuffaloAt quarter past five, our guide Sammy picks us up from our hotel. He is delighted that we are all ready on time, and drives us to the park. We are among the very first vehicles to enter the park.It is cold, but Sammy has thoughtfully prepared enough blankets to keep us warm.The sky is glowing a beautiful orange, a magical sign of the sunrise to come. Almost immediately, we see a herd of wildebeest.We also spot several elephants very close to the road. These magical creatures pay absolutely no attention to us as they calmly continue eating.Of course, we also see zebras, impalas and some beautiful kingfishers.Then Sammy gets a message from one of his colleagues: somewhere in the park, lions are hunting a buffalo. He immediately drives in that direction, and by the time we arrive, there are already perhaps ten safari vehicles gathered there.We can see a buffalo standing in the distance, but the lions are nowhere to be seen. Even the guides in the other vehicles have no idea where they are.We wait. And then, suddenly, we spot a lion behind a termite mound. From where we are, it is really nothing more than a little brown spot, just barely visible through the binoculars.But as we wait, we realise that the lion is slowly stalking towards the buffalo. It takes two little steps, then lies down. Two more steps, then down again.After about 45 minutes, Sammy decides to drive around to the other side, where he expects the lion to chase the buffalo.And at exactly that moment, two buffaloes come charging past our jeep at full speed. One of them has been ripped open across its back by the second lion — a lion we hadn't even seen yet.Now both lions are in view, moving towards the buffalo standing close to our jeep. At first, the buffalo seems ready to fight back. But at the last moment, it decides to run, right past the front of our jeep.The lions stop. They are exhausted. One lies down to rest, while the other keeps watch and patrols the territory.It is unbelievable that we got to witness this. Because of the excitement and tension, we actually managed to take very few good photos or videos of the actual moment. But what an incredible experience!We see a few more lions and a huge herd of zebras before it is time to leave. We are running a little late because we have to catch our flight, so Sammy drives us back to the hotel.What an amazing experience!**Thank you, Sammy!**

Morning of Safari
We really enjoyed the safari morning trip and seeing the animals. Our driver Remember Mathebula made this trip fun for us and he was very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora. We saw 4 of the big 5 and Remember made all effort to ensure that we got to see as many animals as possible. Completely recommend the tour and Remember as a tour guide and driver.

Awesome experience
Our safari was 6 hours long but had a Great experience with our guide Prince, his insights on animals their health and environment was additional benefits for us. Managed to see 4 out of 5 Big five. Thanks so much for such a Wonderful experience.

Great safari with an excellent guide
Our guide Jason was great. We spent 3 days with him with the full day and morning safari.
I highly appreciate his professional services, his explanation of the animals, he works with his empathy and enthousiam to find the animals (the Lions as it's not easy to locate them) as he know most of the guests won't be able to come back again.
I value him as an excellent guide especially come to respecting the animals which is important to respect the ecosystem.
We were very satisfied, it's a costly trip but it worths.
Kurt Safari also provided the 3 nights accomodation in Umbhaba eco lodge - it was great and better than I expected in terms of cleaners and the BBQ buffrt evening which 10/10. The lodge is also very ecology friendly with paper instead of plastic.
Overall, Great tour! We saw Lions very close, thanks again Jason! We saw lots of Elephants (80+ for the two days), hippopotamus, zebra, lots of different species of antilope, etc

We had the best time! And the best guide!!! He was kind and went the extra mile to ensure we saw all of the big 5. He was also SO knowledgable. Can’t recommend asking for DiDi for your tour. He’s funny too and a South African native :)

We had an amazing experience with Kurt Safari and can highly recommend this company. Everything was perfectly organized, from the transfer from Johannesburg to the daily tour pickups, which were always on time.A special thank you to our guide, Nhlamulo, who accompanied us for five days. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. His knowledge was incredible, and he was able to answer every question we had about the wildlife in great detail.
