great tour of Guatemala City
A nice tour of Guatemala City - showing all the sights with an English speaking guide who was very thoughtful, adjusting the tour to our interests. We got a very good insight into the city and the rhythm of life.

Incredibly informative tour. We learned so much and really feel connected to the city now. We especially appreciated the part of the tour inside the central market, as there were so many items we wouldn’t have recognized. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend this tour!

Spectacular and fun
Riding in Antigua was not as daunting as I had anticipated. Our guide made it safe. The truck ride up the mountain is a bit scary and steep but I never felt unsafe. The hobbit village where we watched the sunset is spectacular. We were also able to eat and get a cocktail up there.

Great tour with Roberto...
Great tour with Roberto who was incredibly knowledgeable and funny. Brilliant way to get a better sense of Antigua and its history. The visit to the house of Jade is a bit of a waste of time however

This was such a fun and...
This was such a fun and unique experience in Antigua! We really enjoyed getting to take part in the entire process of creating our own piece of jade jewelry, rather than simply watching someone else make it.The experience started with being able to choose our own piece of jade, which made it feel personal right from the beginning. From there, we picked the design we wanted and then actually worked on shaping and creating the piece ourselves. It was really interesting to see how a rough piece of jade slowly transformed into something beautiful that we could take home with us.The instructors were wonderful. They were friendly, patient, and very helpful throughout the entire process. They gave us plenty of opportunity to do the work ourselves while stepping in when needed to make sure our pieces turned out well. They also helped with the finishing touches so that what we made looked polished and professionally finished.I especially liked that you leave with a souvenir that has much more meaning than something you simply purchase in a store—you actually selected the jade and helped create the finished piece yourself. This was a great hands-on activity and something a little different from the typical sightseeing tours. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Antigua who wants a fun, creative, and memorable experience.

Highlight of Our Trip!
My mom and I both really enjoyed this experience! The tour beforehand was great and educational. And the actual jade making was really fun and the instructors were kind and helpful. I highly recommend!

Excellent sunrise tour of Tikal
A really brilliant trip - worth the price and the 2:30am wake up for the drive from Flores. Seeing the sunrise over Tikal was so special, and to be there before the heat of the day was a blessing too. Marlon’s knowledge about the history of the area was encyclopaedic and his ability to spot wildlife was unparalleled. We had English and Spanish speakers in our group and it worked well for all as he would make sure he covered everything in both languages. We had 3 in our group, it felt like a special personal tour and experience. There are Q250pp entrance fees to pay (if you are not Guatemalan) which are not included in the tour price but Marlon arranged these and we paid in cash.Marlon has a great approach to regenerative tourism and shared with us his mission to pick up pieces of plastic found in the park to stop the animals getting hold of them (not that there was a lot, but things here and there). We helped too. Would love to see more of this.

The experience was...
The experience was spectacular! Marlon was an impressive guide, not only because of the knowledge he provided, but he adapted to the group, included very cool details (at breakfast, at lunch...) and you can tell he loves his job. He is a very careful and organized person and that is noticeable.Perhaps it was one of the more expensive tours, but it is also a much smaller group and all the care and attention they provide was worth it to us.

Great guide to a magic place
Aquilino’s deep knowledge of Tikal, the safe and comfortable van, and the magic of this extraordinary place made for an unforgettable experience.

Nothing short of amazing!!
Our tour started off with a stop for breakfast at a a cute spot to ensure we were fueled for the long day ahead.
Our guide, Pedro, was informative and accommodating while ensuring there were opportunities to comfortably explore the various areas on the way and during the tour.
Once we got to the attraction, Pedro continued to share fun insights from the herbal plant and throughout the tour. We experienced every presentation offered, the chocolate making, weaving demonstration, and honey and bee presentation as well as having an opportunity to go up to the lookout. Pedro also took excellent pictures of us at the key stops. We loved everything about this experience, it was a long day, but it was well worth it. Even my 12 year old was thoroughly engaged the entire time.

Great tour!
Omar was an amazing guide. He was friendly, easy to understand and shared a wealth of knowledge covering much more than the ancient history of Tikal. He knew how to avoid the crowds. We were very happy we took this tour.

THANK YOU Tikal VIP!!
The Tikal VIP agency is everything they promise and more. Punctual, organized, kind, respectful of their culture and diversity. The vehicles are modern and the food is delicious.
It is ethical, careful, and first-class tourism.
We took the sunrise tour in Tikal and the sunset tour in Yaxha. What can you say... It is pure magic!! A connection with the past, with nature, and with oneself. The animals and the vegetation stimulate an ancestral part of your brain.
My son is a young biologist and he was able to take his time and learn a lot from our guide Oscar.
Oscar is a very wise gentleman full of vitality; you can perceive the love he has for his work and how he strives to share his knowledge and cultural richness. He is a responsible, punctual professional who goes at your pace. While I watched the groups running from one side to the other, we walked with Oscar. It was like having a private tutor, one of those who knows everything and seeks to enhance your experience.
They don't rip you off, they encourage you. Time fades away. The experience is 100 out of 100.
Thanks to Tikal VIP, to Oscar and Daniel.
