Great experience
The green train was a great way to get an overall experience of Noumea in an hour and half
This being our first visit we were unsure of the layout
The scenery was very picturesque and we stopped once at the lookout
The guide and driver were very professional
Bring a jacket as it can get windy and cool

A memory for the ages
The whole day was incredibly memorable, from the crystal clear azure coloured water to the turtles, tropical fish species and reef sharks, stunning on all levels. Take all drinks, food, comfort with you. Underwater snorkelling videos are the best ✅

Great day out! The water...
Great day out! The water taxi itself was a fabulous experience, especially the return trip as it was quite rough - think roller coaster on the ocean! Great snorkeling too - lots of large turtles, all very approachable, and we saw a reef shark and plenty of other coral reef fish too.

Airport shuttle into Noumea
A very helpful driver with a new van. My wife had hip complaints and sat in the front passenger seat alongside the driver. All verynice and helped us with our baggage into the hotel. We are older people so this was a real help.

Really good full day outing
Start with the negative. Should have been a disclosure about snakes on the island.Overall for the price full 8-hour tour perfect location. Great place for a swim suntan the lunch that was included was spectacular caters for all food requirements.
Can hire snorkeling equipment when.
Glass bottom boat was a very good experience.
Reef is very stunning to go snorkeling around. Just keep in mind of time if you need to reapply sunscreen and make sure it is safe for the reef biodegradable

Turtle time
Wasn't too busy because it was July. The visibility was good, didn't matter too much for seeing turtles because they were easy to spot in the shallow clear water.
The trip there and back was as much fun as the snorkelling

Amazing Day Out with Mary D
There's a reason this excursion gets such great reviews. Sure, it is pricey but it is so well run with so much included . It ticks many boxes for great experiences in Nouméa: boat ride, glass bottom boat , amazing lunch food with French wine, beautiful beach, entertainment.....the list goes on. We elected to add on lighthouse visit and hire of snorkels/masks.
The MaryD staff were all so friendly and professional. 5 stars..

Insightful tour
We arrived with our Carnival cruise and were shuttled to the Ferry Terminal where Lyvai had a stand advertising their tours. We booked the Country Tour which was excellent. As others did not book the same trip, we ended up with a personal tour, led by Yolende, who was excellent. The personal and professional service we received was brilliant. The local knowledge imparted by Yolende, gave us a truly insightful tour. Thank you, we would definitely book again.

Best day of our holiday in NC.
This was the highlight of our holiday in Noumea. If you are looking to pick just one island day trip, then this ticks all the boxes. Only 30min max from Baie des Citrons, 7hrs is more than enough time there, value for money, great snorkeling for those who are new to it. It's definitely not the Red Sea , but perfect for my teens who have not seen been somewhere more exotic.
We saw dozens of turtles, many fish, sea snakes and a white tipped reef shark- very lucky I'd say.
As others have commented, the guys driving the boats are fantastic! Very obviously very skilled and experienced in rough seas.
Pack a picnic plenty of water and enjoy relaxing all day.

Efficient and reliable
I booked return service from the airport to my hotel at Anse Vata. At about AUD90 return this is by far the cheapest way to get to/from the airport
My name was on their board at arrival, and departed for Noumea about 20 mins later with the bus about half full. Overall it took about 90 mins from landing to reach the hotel
On the return I received a text and was able to track the minibus. It was bang on time although I think they were overly generous in allowing 3.5 hours before the flight, especially considering emigration didn’t open till one hour before
But overall a very good and reliable service

Enjoyable, interesting and informative
We couldn't go on the green train as not enough bookings for our time so Lyvai upgraded us to the Country bus tour. It was very interesting and everything was done well and professionally, despite a few technical issues with the intercom. Our guide Yourunda ( sorry for spelling) was fabulous, friendly, knew the local history really well and made the tour interesting and enjoyable). I loved the Tchibou cultural centre the most. Thank you

Hop on hop off bus
The hop on hop off service was very useful, especially considering that it was pouring with rain on the day we went. Nevertheless it gave us the opportunity to escape the rain, see the area and spend some time in the dry in the markets and the aquarium. The aquarium is great and worth a visit. It was easy to use this service and the staff were good.
