Granada Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

The wonderful Marta from Crown Tours took us on a private tour of The Alhambra including Generalife, the Medina, the Nazrid Palace, and the surrounding gardens. She is a Granada native, with a background in history, and has been guiding for thirteen years. We had so many questions about what we were seeing and she had all the answers, in a lot of depth, which was greatly appreciated. She brought the palaces and grounds to life for us. I will never forget this experience - 5 stars!!!!!

We forgot to book early and ended up with a 5pm tour that we thought was bad timing as it was the hottest part of the day. We ended up with a completely private tour for just the two of us with Valery. Her English language skills were superb along with her local knowledge. Her passion for Alhambra shone through especially as she told us about the recent closure of the tower due to earth quake crack! The breeze kept the tour really comfortable as Valery taught us more about the culture and history. We hope she gets her wedding at the Alhambra ;)

First class walking tour because of our wonderfully energetic and knowledgeable guide, Arnau. We took the cooler 9 am tour. Possible to catch the C30 or C32 bus but we taxied up and bussed down. Lots of shade, places to sit a minute, and a well-timed break for drinks and comfort half way through.But the most compelling part of the tour were the sites. Breathtaking, humbling, and beautiful.

We booked a last minute deal with a guide to visit the Alhambra, desk person was very helpful. Our guide Ismael was awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable with well timed historical facts along the visit. It was worth taking a guide

Amazing, intimate and authentic. Drinks available for purchase. In a beautiful hillside location in GRANADA. Feel free to tip and take pictures with dancers. This was by far the best flamenco we saw in Spain and we saw 3 across various cities.

Absolutely spectacular show. Four artists were involved: one guitarist, a singer and two female dancers of very different style. The venue itself is very nice with recently renovated clean facilities. Nice bar drinks. I booked front row seat and that was absolutely superb and worth doing really, I have the most spectacular view and very memorable experience. I’ve seen Flamenco more than once in various places and this one was really top rate.

A really enjoyable hour in a small but air conditioned hall. Great dancing, excellent guitar work too. The bar is very cheap too!
