Giza Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

I wasn’t very involved in booking this excursion but it was brilliant. Our guide, Sabry, was friendly, very knowledgeable, took some excellent photos and just knew how to make the most of a potentially big day for tourists without it becoming exhausting or overwhelming. The pick up and drop off were both easy and on time, and we packed a huge amount in - visiting the Giza panoramic viewpoint by camel, the Pyramids (including going inside), the Sphinx, lunch, Memphis and Saqqara within about 7 hours. Having a private guide made it so much more informative than relying on a guidebook and having the driver meant we were as comfortable as possible in Egypt in 40°C! Thank you to Sabry for a fantastic day which really did deliver on everything we could have hoped for and more.

We had a wonderful experience with Marco as our tour guide! He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and very patient. He made the tour interesting and enjoyable by explaining the history and culture in a way that was easy to understand, and he was always happy to answer our questions. Marco went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. We truly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend Marco to anyone visiting Egypt!

This tour was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide, Muhammad, was the best anyone could ask for—kind, polite, knowledgeable, and professional. Even the workers at the pyramids spoke highly of him!The tour included visiting the pyramids, an ATV ride, a camel ride, making our own fragrance, and learning about Egyptian history and Papyrus scrolls. The personalized Papyrus scroll with your name on it is such a unique and meaningful souvenir to take home!This experience was definitely a 10,000/10! ⭐️✨ If you’re visiting Cairo, I highly recommend booking this tour and requesting Muhammad. Great driver, very nice and accommodating. Although he did not speak English he was using his fone as translator and that was just fine.

Ahmed Nashaat was a great guide and the tour was fantastic. Enjoyed seeing the downtown area of Cairo and tasting koshary for the first time.

We had such a great day with our Amira and our driver Mohamed. They both went the extra mile to make sure we had a wonderful day.Ameria had so much knowledge and took the time to answer all of our questions. Mohamed drove with care and they both made sure my 77 year old mother-in-law with some mobility issued was taken care of at all times.Lunch was delicous, the old Egyptian Museum had so many wonderful artifacts, the market held many interesting shops and Couric churches were a wonderful end to the day.This is great value for money and I recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn more about Egypt!

Our guide Heba was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We had to skip the last part due to heat. Lunch was streetfood falafel sandwiches which we ate in the car but it was tasty.

This tour with guide Hassan was one of the best we did during our 3 day visit in Cairo having 5 tours in total. Hassan knows a lot about the history and even more about Saqqara, Dahschur and Memphis as he was working at the excavation site. He is also capable to explain in an easy to understand way. The whole trip was safe with experienced driver Mr Mustafa, the pilot. No unexpected stop at a shop no annoying follow-up to give a review of thetour. I would give even more stars if possible. Highly recommended!!!

Mohammed was a good guide, speaking English very eloquently, and he knew a lot about the history. He also could teach me a few hieroglyphics and the logic behind them. He has a good laid-back attitude, but professional aura around him, which makes him chill and not too demanding. The only minus point was that he was so good that the tour was over too quickly, and I didn't have anything to do for the rest of the day. So ask him a lot of questions and take it slow hahaha!

We had a great night … our driver collected us and was on hand throughout the night. Food was ok but the entertainers and staff were excellent. The night is what you make it … if u all join in it will be fun. Alcohol was on the menu but we were refused when we ordered it , as it was Ramadan ?? This should not of been the case on a holiday trip.

Fantastic tour guide and agenda. Coming from Chicago for the first time, and with only a limited amount of time to sample a small bit of culture and history- our visit lead by Ali was very enjoyable and informative, fun, and we learned so much all in 6 hours!!
