Fremantle Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

I researched diving around Perth and Rotnest came up as a great experience, i then checked local five companies offering dive trips around Rotnest and bucket list diver came out on top, my experience performing a reactivation and diving at Rotnest were excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, good equipment, good communication, I would Highly recommend Bucket list diver.

It was by far the best way to travel the staff on the ferry was very helpful the tour guide are very knowledgeable about Rottnest you need to get there early to as it can get very busy once you’re on the island there plenty to do and there plenty of places to eat I would recommend rotnest express again they took care of everything from the ferry to the bus tour it all done in 1 place.

Booked 8 days earlier and received discount on price, as advertised on their website. Terminal was easy to find with plenty of parking around (we booked the 7am departure, I believe it gets busier later in the day) no need to check in as we didn’t have luggage or bikes. Crossing was pleasant, weather was beautiful. Very clear on when and where we had to be for both crossings. We had a wonderful day thank you :)

Our host Eli was so informative and passionate about the island’s wildlife, history and beaches! We were so lucky on our tour day to see whales migrating, dolphins, seals and osprey. We also saw an osprey nesting on the cliff top. Such a fabulous day! A big thank you to Cos our driver too!

The whole experience was positive. The ferry was on time. The cabin was clean and the seats were comfortable.

We had a nice relaxing cruise. We weren’t advised where to meet the boat. We also had trouble hearing the commentary on the cruise

Nigel was a great story teller! It was a fantastic evening diving into the past of Fremantle and it's gruesome stories. We will be back for the Perth tour.

We really enjoyed the ride to and from Rottnest. The staff were friendly. Seats comfortable. Online booking process super easy. I even found a discount code to use which saved a few dollars.

Terrific Cruise down the Swan River, the guide shared lots of information and was very knowledgeable. The food and service on board was terrific.

Smooth from check in at the port to leaving the island. The tours were so well organised, the light lunch was fresh and tasty and the bus driver/guide Trevor was amazing! He spent so much time getting to know about everyone. He had a fantastic sense of humour and made the Journey entertaining. We had the best day, there was nothing I could fault about it!!
