Simone is fabulous! She speaks excellent English, grew up near Freiburg and knows the area very well. We visited the farmers's museum which was much more interesting with her in-depth knowledge of the area and the exhibits. The same was true of the cuckoo clock region. We stopped at a wonderful butcher and tasted really delicious Black Forest ham. She had sandwiches made up so we had a picnic overlooking the valley. A 2 day tour would be even better with her as she knows so much about the region and we could have seen even more. She was very generous with her time!

Petra was excellent- extremely knowledgeable and interesting. She vividly told the story of Freiburg and linked it to the areas we were walking through. She was happy to answer questions and had a nice sense of humor. She was great to have on our first day in Freiburg as she gave us a real orientation.

It is a very fun tour to do with family or friends. At your own pace. With mysteries to solve together and concrete explanations, curiosities, and much more. We will repeat in another city.

An enjoyable way to get to know the best corners of the city with children. The puzzles were easy to solve except for one of them, because we didn't read what was asked of us well.

The tour guide, Simone, was wonderful! We were picked up right at the hotel, visited a sandwich shop, and planned our agenda before we headed out for the day. It is customized to your interests and Simone knows all the best spots!

My husband and I had a most enjoyable day touring the Black Forest with Simone. She picked us up at , and returned us to, our hotel in Freiburg. Our six hour tour included visits to an Old Farm House, an amazing meat shop, and an awesome bakery. We toured the fascinating Black Forest Open Air Museum, and saw an incredible display of cuckoo clocks there. We concluded our tour with a hike up the hillside in the charming town of Wolfach, and were rewarded with an ice cream in town. We learned a lot from Simone about the history, geography, and culture of the area - an essential part of the tour. Simone will tailor a tour to your interests, and you are sure to have a wonderful experience.

Although the tour was in German, I think anyone with an intermediate level of German would be able to understand most of it. Betty spoke very clearly and at a pace that made it easy for a non-native speaker to follow.I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, especially Betty’s witty sense of humour, which made it both informative and entertaining. She and her assistant were also very attentive to the needs of the group and made sure everyone felt included and comfortable.A very enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend this tour.

A informative tour this city has so much going on it was fantastic to hear about it. Also being showed cool spots we would not have otherwise found in our short stay. Highly recommend.

Lots of fun with great company

What an exciting, entertaining tour. I completed it alone, but I could also imagine it as a family with children, as the paths would be manageable even for small children. The information about the city is presented in a very exciting way. Thank you very much.

Simone was a fantastic guide. She was so incredibly friendly and never rushed us. As she got to know me and my daughter, she tailored our trip based on our interests, making for a great time that we both enjoyed immensely. She took the time to explain much about the Black Forest and history of the area along the way. Her preparation and attention to our needs was also very impressive; our tour was during a heatwave, so she had plenty of drink options to keep us hydrated. She also steered us towards things to do during our time in Freiburg, and the recommendations we were able to take were absolutely fantastic. It felt more like being shown around by a friend than by a guide, and the experience was priceless.
