Formentera Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We did the Formentera Island Tour today and it was such an amazing experience! Our guide Mimi showed us so many beautiful spots and told us everything we wanted to know about the island.We really enjoyed how many places we were able to see during the tour. We spent just the perfect amount of time at each spot to have a look around, take pictures or go for a swim.The drive in the 4x4 Land Rover was also a highlight, as we were able to experience the island off the usual tourist routes and discover places we would probably never have found on our own.I would highly recommend doing this tour instead of exploring the island on your own. Mimi was a fantastic guide and made the whole experience even more special.Thank you for this awesome day! ❤️

I want on a full day sailing trip with this boat today and it was amazing. The boat is beautiful and comfortable, and the crew is warm and friendly. Highly recommend.

100% worth the visit. One of the best beaches i have ever seen. Would defo recommend hiring bikes. A little chilly on the boat ride home but other than that great day.

Being in Ibiza, you can not miss the opportunity to go to Formentera and spend a day there. I think it's the best way to go to Formentera. Easy, comfortable and fast.

We rent a boat with 3 friends . It was our first time in Ibiza, and it couldnt be better. Mr Hyde was a super nice boat, and Jose was an amazing captain, he took us to great places!!! And saw a great sunset! If you travel to Ibiza, do not hesitate on renting a boat via CharteAlia!

A relaxed experience on the water - we were lucky to be picked up at Figueretas and secured a sunbed on top (free). If picked up at Bossa, the beds are likely already secured so you have to share with someone or sit below which is still nice but you can’t lay out in the sun which is a nice experience. The stops were beautiful, crew was friendly and the light bites were nice to have. I was bummed at first this boat didn’t serve paella like the other excursions I’d read about, but given how hot it is I preferred the chilled fruit, pasta salad, pizza etc. the open bar was great too

Great experience with my friends! Plenty of time to have fun in the water, the DJ was playing great music to keep us pumping (definitely not a party boat but my friends and I unabashedly danced the entire time), and the food and drinks were good. Highly recommend!

Great day on the high seas with Tincho (Martin) our skipper- great host who took us across to Formentera from 1-9 so we could enjoy the views, the gorgeous beach and most incredibly green/blue seas. 7 of us went (plus Tincho) and we sunbathed, lunched and had such a fun time, topped off with the most incredible sunset on the way back to Ibiza. What a day - we’ll be back

We had the most beautiful memorable day sailing over to Formentara. It really couldn’t have been better! Tincho our skipper was a fantastic guide and companion, and without a doubt contributed to us having such a perfect day. We sailed, we swam, we paddleboarded and we danced.
