Helsinki was the first stop on our Nordic/Scandinavian adventure. Our tour guide was engaging, funny and very knowledgeable and gave us an amazing walking tour of Helsinki’s major sites. He also gave us a few recommendations for some food choices, which were fantastic suggestions because we visited them after the tour was over. Highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed.

An enjoyable couple of hours learning a little about the local history. A great introduction to the city with a knowledgeable tour guide.

Possibly the most civilised place I have ever been to. Very clean, no graffiti, no louts, brilliant transport system, best airport I,ve ever been to, friendly people, interesting food. Interestingly the prices were not as bad as I thought they would be. Maybe 10 to 15% more than the UK.

Since it was drizzling on the day, I wasn't expecting much, but Paul took us to an area without clouds, and we could faintly see the aurora with our naked eyes! The photos you took are clear and became wonderful memories! They took another picture when the aurora was strong on the way home! I was relieved because they replied to my previous questions so politely! (Since the photos were taken with my smartphone, the ones Paul took are much clearer.)

Wonderful tour with a great driver and the tour guide, Nana. She was fabulous, and since we couldn’t go into the church since it was a Sunday, we went to the library and it was a definite favorite that I highly recommend!!

A fun day out of the city to walk around and see the old town. Some cute shops and fun coffee stops.

Started on time and was very informative. Two floors so you can choose to be outside or in. There are lots of cool islands and a miltary fort now tourist attraction. Lots to see. Beautiful views. Swing bridge is fun to go into a canal. Highly recommend.

We spent a nice day with Ron walking around the city and learning its history. He was so pleasant and kind. Everyone enjoyed the experience — and the food!

I really enjoyed the walk and grilling sausages. Our guide was super friendly and helpful. The forest was beautiful in the rain!

We spent a wonderful afternoon in Nuuksio National Park, accompanied by our guide Emma, who was absolutely fantastic. She led us along a beautiful trail immersed in nature and patiently answered all our questions about the surrounding flora and fauna. When we reached the shore of one of the park’s lakes, we roasted sausages over the fire and drank blueberry juice, in true Finnish style! We were a small group of people from different nationalities, and the atmosphere was truly lovely. A simple, authentic and beautiful experience that we would absolutely recommend!

A lovely relaxing boat ride.the commentary was very informative of the area we were shown. Blankets available were an added bonus!

The Arktis Ice Breaker Cruise is a one of a kind experience. You can have an all in one experiences in one trip with the professional guides and crews. Enjoyed the Ice floating, Sauna and the cozy hot tub while in the middle of the amazing views. It is a 10/10 experience.

I found Winterent on Instagram, and I am so glad I did. We ordered 2 adults suits, which include gloves, boots and neck liners, I also ordered my toddler a snowsuit, boots, mittens and neck liner. We had the clothing delivered to our hotel. and it was literally available from the moment we arrived. All clothing and shoes were true to size, none of us got cold once, and most importantly my toddler was warm throughout. I also purchased a hat for my son through Wnterent which was excellent as covered his ears and neck. When we departed we arranged for them to collect from the hotel, which they did. I couldn't recommend them enough, and would encourage people to use them instead of buying outfits that might not combat the artic conditions.

I did the forest horseback ride and it was an amazing experience, HIGHLY recommend! They were kind enough to pick me up from over an hour away when my ride arrangements fell through, were so friendly, and made sure I was comfortable during the whole ride. It was a peaceful ride through the forest and we stopped for a breathtaking lake/mountain view. If you’re adventurous, love the outdoors , want an experience that is thrilling yet safe, this is a great idea!

This food tour is a great introduction to Tampere and its traditional food. I love food tours like this because they provide a nice glimpse into the city you’re visiting in a short amount of time. Our tour guide, Ron, was friendly and provided interesting insights into Tampere’s history and culture. He even helped me with some basic Finnish pronunciations. I definitely recommend this tour if you’re visiting Tampere. It’s a wonderful city.
