Easter in Ebisu (Updated 2026)

The weather will dictate what you can do, but our tour guide knew all the best places to go for any kind of weather. The sun ended up coming out and giving us some nice views, but we couldn’t go up on the mountain. We had an amazing time with Petteri and learned a ton about Mt Fuji and the area!

Excellent trip with our guide Pradhan. He was flexible and communicative and very friendly. Saw some great sites and customized them to our wishes .

Had a great time. Highly recommend as you get to drive around and see a bunch of stuff around Fuji not spend too much time on the buses around the area.

Though the trip says Fuji and Hakane, the 10 hours time will only allow either Fuji area extensively or Fuji and Hakane.The trip was very well managed by our guide, all major areas including kuagwachiko lake

Ali was a great guide. Great communication. Very friendly. Great driving. Adapted day to my family's interests. The fast boat lake tour (2000 yen per person) was a lot of fun. Ali took excellent pictures for my family. I would give Ali 5 stars, no doubt.However, some of the experiences with the tour company (Live Nippon) could be improved. 1) Because ticket costs were not included in this tour, I asked multiple times before the tour - how much cash do I need to prepare for the day. It was very difficult to get this information. I would hope that the tour company would have this information easily available, but apparently not. 2) The listed 12 places on the itinerary is very misleading. Apparently, this tour includes 10 hours of the driver/guide's time, total, from pick up to drop off. There is no way to complete the itinerary within 10 hours. We ended up paying for two extra hours, plus a steep 15,000 yen additional fee for drop-off at Disney (which is just outside Tokyo) -- and still did not complete the listed itinerary.I would recommend this tour if expectations were set more clearly about what could be seen within 10 hours and extra hourly charges.

The four of us had the most perfect day, despite the mysterious Mt Fuji hiding away. Israr was an excellent driver and a knowledgeable and accommodating guide. He ascertained what we would most like to see and gave us a fantastic itinerary. We started at Oshino Hakkai, a fascinating World Heritage village. We really wanted to go to the 5th Station. Despite the lack of visibility, we really enjoyed the experience. Then we went to beautiful Lake Kawaguchiko where we had such a fun boat ride and a great lunch. Finally, we visited Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine. If you think you’ve seen enough shrines, think again! This one is very special. It has an incredibly beautiful setting and a fascinating history. We can’t thank Israr enough for giving us such a wonderful day. He was a warm and lovely host.

Tour was good even if weather was not. Mattia was very good guide. Would recommend as a few interesting things to see.

Dan, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about our trip to Mt Fuji. His history of the surrounding area help to enhance our experience. My entire group had such an enjoyable experience that we have already made up our minds to do the Mt Fuji tour again when we come back.

Had a wonderful tour of Mount Fuji and the surrounding area. The weather was a bit rainy but surprisingly you could see all on the mountain. Our guide Israr was great and provided lots of information and suggestions while allowing us to customize the day to do what we wanted. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely day exploring Mt Fuji. Despite the weather, our tour guide Moon tailored the day to the conditions and interests of us so we could explore the surroundings of the Mount Fuji area. It was well paced and Moon was helpful in recommending the appropriate times for us to visit each area.

David is a very knowledgeable guide and very accommodating. We got to see not only Mt Fuji and Hakone, but we went to Oshino-Hakai, a 300 year old village with fresh mochi and a 1900 year old Shinto shrine with 1000 year old trees. Both of which were not scheduled on the tour. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with our knowledgeable tour guide Bajwa. He was very informative and took us to lots of gems. We got to see fantastic views of Mt Fuji. Would highly recommend. It’s also great value for money too.
