We had a great time in Durango Netfill Edgar was a great guide and we did 2 tours with him. Sierra de Organos y el Malpais. Bellazas de la Sierra Madre Occidental. We got personalized attention by him In detail regarding the history of Durango. We got to enjoy the nature that we love and hiked the big rocked. Loved everything.

Orlando and Oliver went above and beyond to show me the landscape/animals of La Pirámide Park // VIA FERRATA, RAPPEL, ZIPLINE I was the only one on the tour and were other tour company's cancelled they came through and got me out of Durango's city center definitely a good perspective to understand the environment can't think then enough for following through!

Simple but Superb On theTop of the WOrld
La Pirimide exceeded our expectations. Only two hours from home, the parque welcomed us on to the top of the world. You can't fully appreciate this location unless you hike up into the amazing rocks above the park. Transformend by wind and water, the rocks have morphed into amazing shapes and seem to hang suspended by invisible forces to the sides of the clliffs. We recommend the three hour hike. Rock climbers, mountain bikers and rappellers will go crazy here. There is also a zipline * maybe next time. The cabins are pretty and rustic, providing everything you'll need. The staff, friendly and accomodating. There is a small restaurant and store where you can stock up in gorditas, beer and mescal. Really an amazing adventure.

The malpais (bad country) is a desert oasis formed by cold water springs flowing within volcanic basalt flows. Like those springs, which flow into rivers and cascade over waterfalls, Neftali weaves together a tour of history and nature with (delicious) surprises along the way. My favorite part of the tour was visiting the waterfall and hiking down to the bottom where the fall turned into a river, and also feeding the fishes in a nearby pond. Our tour guide Edgar and Juan were very polite and knowledgeable about the history and legends of Durango and it’s neighboring states. I give this tour a 10/10 would do it again and would recommend it to anyone coming out to visit Durango.

Get into the mexican culture with Edgar!
I didn't know what to expect, I expected a day into the nature. Yes we went to the magnificent waterfalls. But then Edgar took me to pueblos magico Constanza. If you want to get into Mexican histories, gastronomy, music, culture, you have to listen to Edgar. He explains the history of Mexico and places it in the background of European history. He knows a lot about nahuatl (the native language), he learned me about the Camino real, about the process to make mezcal, about the mexican food, about politics in Mexico nowadays, showed me a traditional bakery, and in the meantime we drove around South of Durango. I have learned so much about Mexico. Thank you Edgar!!

  • Cool Rewards is a loyalty program operated by Cool Destinations. Rewards may be earned by any eligible person holding a Cool Destinations account, subject to the Cool Destinations customer Terms of Use.

Earning rewards

  • Rewards can be earned by making bookings on the Cool Destinations website. You will be able to see the value of the rewards you can earn during the booking process.
  • Earned rewards will be issued in a pending state and will move to a confirmed state 24 hours after the start time of the experience.
  • Earned rewards will be available to redeem once they are no longer in a pending state.
  • For bookings that are moved to a different travel date, the rewards will be redeemable after the amended travel date.
  • If a booking where rewards were issued is canceled, the earned rewards will not be redeemable and will be moved to a canceled state.

Redeeming rewards

  • To redeem rewards, you must be logged into your Cool Destinations account.
  • Any available rewards will be automatically applied the next time you make a booking, and their value will be deducted from your order at checkout, unless you choose not to apply them, which requires you to indicate this via the toggle switch. Bookings made using rewards are subject to the standard Cool Destinations Customer Terms of Use.
  • You will not be able to redeem only a portion of your available rewards at checkout. It is only possible to redeem all or none of your available rewards.
  • There is no minimum order value required to redeem your rewards. This means that you can pay for 100% of your order with rewards.
  • Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
